We’ve been going to the Sayreville
location for years and it is always amazing! This time we went with a fairly large party of 14 people to celebrate my mom’s birthday. It was a last minute decision and we knew it could be a busy Thursday evening. We called the restaurant on the way and the manager was very gracious. He said the table will be ready by the time we arrive. Surely, we were greeted at the entrance and seated promptly. The restaurant was quite busy and the manager himself was helping tend to the guests. Nevertheless he did not miss a thing. The service was fast, prompt and impeccable! In spite of being a little short handed, the food arrived fresh and in record speed. Everything was nice and hot and served together in a timely manner. Though we didn’t order cocktails this time around, I saw that they do have a full bar menu. Perhaps we’ll have to try the drinks next time. We also loved the refreshed and warm new decor and Desi lounge ambiance. Great job guys! A+
Thank you!

I’ve been coming to Bombay Talk for years and wanted to finally leave a review because my experiences have consistently been positive.

They recently renovated and the space looks great — really colorful, vibrant, and fun to sit in. The staff is always so sweet and helpful, and service is super fast.

The food is consistently good every time. While people think of Indian food, they often gravitate toward classics like butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango lassi, this place offers a different variety — Indian fusion and street-food style dishes, South Indian options, Indo-Chinese, lots of small plates, and a solid drink selection (including alcohol). It’s also very vegetarian-friendly.

I’ve seen a few overly critical reviews and felt it was worth sharing a positive, real experience because this place has always delivered for me.

Best move is to come with a group and order a bunch of different dishes to try. Definitely an underrated neighborhood gem and deserves to be packed.

Everything about this place was just so good. The food felt truly authentic, the presentation was beautiful, and the service made us feel really taken care of from start to finish.
I had the golgappa (pani puri) and wow each bite was amazing. The ingredients were super fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the spice level was spot on. You can really tell the chefs know what they’re doing and put a lot of care into their food. Even the way it was presented felt thoughtful and special.
And the cocktails were such a treat! Creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the food. Definitely some of the best I’ve had at an Indian restaurant.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. This is the kind of place you want to come back to not just for the food, but for how it makes you feel.
Highly recommend Bombay Talk Sayreville if you’re looking for authentic flavors, great drinks, and top-notch service. Can’t wait to go back!

First time at Bombay Talk and WOW. What a hidden gem!
We were a group of four (with clients), and I’m not very familiar with Indian cuisine, so I wasn’t sure what to order. Thankfully, our server Ak was incredibly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He guided us through the menu and made perfect recommendations.
Tokri Chaat? Crunchy, flavorful, and addictive.
Masala Dosa? Crispy perfection.
Dry Gobi Manchurian? Bold, spicy, and unforgettable.

Every single dish was packed with authentic flavor. My clients were beyond impressed.
If you’re in Edison and craving real Indian street-style flavors with top-tier service, this place is a must-visit. We’re 100% coming back!

The food quality was excellent—fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and beautifully balanced spices. You can really taste the effort and skill that goes into each dish. Nothing felt heavy or overdone, just clean, flavorful, and satisfying.
A special shout-out to Mr. Utkarsh, the restaurant manager. He was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, checking in to make sure everything was perfect. His presence truly elevated the experience and made us feel valued as guests. It’s rare to see management so involved and passionate, and it really shows in how well the restaurant is run.
Bombay Talk Sayreville is the kind of place where great food meets genuinely great service. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality, authenticity, and a team that truly cares.

Unassuming, but fabulous food. Located in Sayerville, NJ, near Patel Brothers Indian supermarket. It’s a must go when we go food shopping! I had the Tokri chat, my favorite. Fresh, full of flavor & just spicy enough. My partner had the masala dosa, always fun. Not a piece was left. We also had mango lassi. Very fresh.
The restaurant is nicely decorated inside, and the service is attentive. Go check it out!

We come here often and everything is amazing! The food has always been and still is spectacular. Dahi puri and chole bhathura are family favorites and the service is spectacular! The lychee martini and guava margarita was so, so good. Rano and the rest of the staff is incredible and we love eating here!!!!

The service was excellent—from the chefs to the front-of-house staff. A special mention to the restaurant manager, Mr. Utkarsh, who truly stands out for his professionalism and hospitality. He is a real asset to the restaurant.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would love to come back again!
