My daughter and I were visiting Rockford from North Carolina for a couple weeks while my husband was doing some schooling for work there. We decided to try this restaurant to get a “Chicago style” pizza. First, the place was very clean. We went during “off” hours so we were the only customers there. Our server, I believe she said her name was Debra, was absolutely fabulous. She was helpful and answered all our questions and gave her recommendations that we were grateful for. The cheese bread was so good and the pizza was probably one of the best ones we’ve had in a long time. We loved the interactions with the server and her daughter. They were funny, witty, and just all around wonderful people. We had so much leftover because we were so full, that we took over half a pizza back to our hotel. It made a great dinner that night too. If we are back in the Rockford area again, we will definitely go back.

Costed over $30 for one pizza. When ordering on the phone, the lady didn’t mention the price of the pizza. I mentioned to the lady I was looking online at what to buy and asked if the chicken strips contained dairy. They said they threw away the allergy information sheet, therefore they cannot confirm or deny if they contain dairy, so I did not order them. They should not throw away those things when there are customers/ customers who have children/family, etc. with allergies! How terrible. I assumed the prices online were accurate. When arriving to the restaurant through the drive thru, the lady was sitting down on the chair on her phone, took her minutes to realize I was parked by the window, even when I rang the bell more than once, that says ring for service. I mentioned to the lady how the price was lower online and she said the prices are different now than the ones online, no duh, maybe they should mention that to customers before they order and get shocked by the insane prices. I should have went to Papa Johns and got a large pizza for $10, since they were having a deal for customers.

My grandma got pizza from here. She used to get pizza from them all the time. This last experience made us decide to go elsewhere from now on. They burnt the crust so badly that it was not edible. I called them and they wanted me to send them pictures. They finally got back to me to offer me a $10 credit. I spent $26.30 on a pizza we just had to throw away. They never even apologized for it.

I had an unpleasant experience with another customer who seemed to have a problem with me. As a Navy Veteran, I’ve had enough experience dealing with bigots —and this was no exception. Luckily, no one was injured. In fact, I used my witty sense of humor and found a reason to laugh. Sometimes, people act in unbecoming ways because they want attention. After, the bigot slammed his drink on the table, cleared his throat one too many times, and made irrational comments about ‘these people’ —I begin to look at him like he was a clown. Once he realized he wasn’t getting the reaction he expected, he began making complaints to the waiter about his food. Misery loves company, and I am glad I choose JOY every time a Seed of Satan get jumpy. I got the Fried Cod Special with fries and a salad. My meal was fine. I was hoping for more authentic Italian food. However, this restaurant is more American Food than anything. I really enjoyed the Italian inspired murals of the Coliseum in Rome. My unfortunate experience really affected my overall experience/review. I did feel the need to be vigilantly aware of his actions since he seemed upset. I wanted to eat and read my book in peace.

I thought I ordered an Italian beef with cheese and grilled onion. However, they decided to send me a cheese with raw onion in a sprinkle of Italian beef. So I’m not sure what that is. Thank God for my onion rings, which were pretty good. The Pizza was bland to say the least. For the money I paid. You think I would have at least got an italian beef with cheese and grilled onion. If this is their idea of an italian beef with cheese and grilled onion, then perhaps I should go show them what it really is.

I order from here on Doordash all the time and I always receive the best food! My favorite two things are the truffle ice cream thing, and I also get a custom pizza. Always incredible! One day I’d like to make it out to try them in person. The people on the phone have been helpful so far

Got my food delivered to my house. Saw the guy parked in front of my house but didn’t get out. He called me, saying he was about to leave cause he couldn’t find the house but he never got out to even attempt to find it even tho my address was on my house. He came and I paid for the food (they didn’t tell me they didn’t take Apple Pay) so I had to use my card. Alfredo was nasty taste like frozen food. Only gave me a lil chicken. Salad was wet and so little.

Went there for dinner and everything was great. We dined-in had Pizza ,pasta and salad, Everything tasted fresh and delicious, the meatballs were so good. Definitely some of the best in the area. Didn’t do drinks but they had the cutest bar area will definitely be back with friends to have dinner and cocktails!

Ordered online at 330 for a delivery at 615- one of my daughter’s friends is being dropped off at 415 and driver hands her the pizza in the driveway and drives off. A 12 year old.
I called to ask why my 615 order got dropped at 4pm to a child. The person on the phone whom I am going to assume was the owner was full of excuses and no resolution. He said their website was broken and it doesnt show the delivery time. I asked well if you know that shouldn’t you call and confirm with the customer. He said we dont do that. I said well why was it dropped off in the driveway to a child. He said they are supposed to make aure it gets to an adult. He said well they took the pizza so too bad hung up on me! Spent 50 bucks for 2 pizzas that will sit for 2 hours!!
Never again. I should had known better after last time their chicken wings still had a INTACT FEATHER!
