Beautiful restaurant with a warm and cozy atmosphere. We went for dinner and everything was very good. We were greeted by, I think, the owner, and he was very kind. There is a man playing the piano, which makes the atmosphere pleasant. The food is good, the only thing we didn’t really like was the dulce de leche dessert.

One of the best food experiences in Hoboken, and they make you feel so welcome! The quality of food matches the classy and fun ambiance. I usually get beef empanadas (must have!), grilled salmon with orange arugula salad. My daughter loves their waffles with bacon (and I’m grateful she tries my salmon as well lol). Juan (the owner) and everyone on the staff are warm and attentive. We usually go to Amanda’s for family celebrations as we know we won’t be disappointed. Great job

Delicious dinner, good ambiance and excellent service. Dinner time can be very busy which means the noise level can be high.

Short Rib was fantastic and so was the focaccia with tomato relish. Nice ambience a good wine prices. Lobster ravioli was waaayyy too lemony though, pretty much all I could taste was cream and lemon. Should’ve sent it back but we were hungry.

A decent, casual spot with friendly service and solid dishes. Nothing particularly memorable, but it was a pleasant experience overall.
If you’re not a fan of raw shrimp, I’d recommend avoiding the skewers.
Glad I gave it a try, but probably wouldn’t return.

We came here on Wednesday after a long day of moving. The restaurant is decorated nicely and we were seated next to windows. They had happy hour and a a special going on for the night. My girlfriend was feeling a little cold and was going for a sweater in the car when someone from the team offered to adjust the temp, that was really sweet and accommodating of him! We decided to order the guava margarita for our starting drinks after being recommended by our waiter. These babies were strong but so good! It was refreshing without being too sweet. You can drink multiple of these like juice! Now, moving to the appetizers. We tried the lamb skewers and the beef empanada. The grilled lamb skewers came with a garlic aioli and it was delicious. Nice amount of char and well seasoned. The garlic aoili elevated this. The beef empanada was pretty good. The entrees that we ordered were the beef short rib and the grilled porkchops. The beef ribs came with mashed potatoes and mushrooms while with the porkchops, my girlfriend ordered with the mushrooms. The beef short ribs were tender, soft and well seasoned. It’s juices complemented the mash potato and mushrooms really well. The mash potatoes and mushrooms in itself were great. The pork chops were juicy! Also seasoned well and the spicy honey drizzle does make it really tasty. My girlfriend also enjoyed her mushrooms. The person playing the piano was awesome and since we were there when they just opened, felt like a mini concert . Overall great experience!

Hosted a bridal shower this past weekend and it was a wonderful day. The food was delicious and the kitchen was very accommodating to various dietary needs. The service was excellent, the courses were nicely spaced which allowed ample time to visit with all the guests. The room was charming and the live music added a festive atmosphere.

I recently hosted a business dinner for my team at Amanda’s, and it was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between elegant and inviting — ideal for a team celebration where professionalism meets warmth. We reserved one of their private dining rooms, which provided the right level of privacy for conversation while still feeling connected to the restaurant’s lively charm.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group, from customizing the seating layout to ensuring impeccable service throughout the evening. Every course was thoughtfully prepared — the short ribs and salmon were standouts — and the wine selection perfectly complemented the meal. What truly set Amanda’s apart was the personal touch; the owner even stopped by to check in and make sure everything was perfect.
As an entrepreneur, I truly appreciate venues that understand hospitality and make hosting effortless. Amanda’s exceeded expectations in every way, creating a memorable evening that my entire team is still talking about. I’ll absolutely be returning for future events and recommending this spot to other local entrepreneurs and colleagues.

Went for brunch with a good friend. We didn’t make reservation; although we arrived not long after they opened and were able to be seated. Every staff member we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Service was perfect. You didn’t feel rushed and the atmosphere was cozy and comforting. Would recommend this place for brunch. Next trip will be for dinner. Thank you, Amanda’s and all the staff for a wonderful, enjoyable and relaxing brunch.
