An excellent Popeyes location inside a gas station.
Super friendly (and patient) employees guided us through the new menu items.
The new flounder sandwich was delicious. Lighter breading than the traditional chicken sandwich. Actually better than the Filet-o-fish, if you can believe that.
Butterfly Shrimp were good too. Again a different breading than the chicken.
Bathrooms were clean.
Recommend.

I placed an order through the Popeyes app for 9 chicken legs, and the app let me purchase them with no issue. But when I arrived at the store, I was told they “couldn’t do that” because they have a limit of 5 legs. That makes absolutely no sense — why would the app allow it if the store refuses to honor it?
On top of that, they made me wait over 40 minutes for my order. No communication, no apology, nothing. Completely unprofessional and poorly managed. If the store has limits, they should match the app or at least let customers know before making them waste their time.
Very disappointing experience. Not coming back to this location anytime soon.

I have always had great service & delicious fresh food at the Popeyes’ on US 12/20 in Porter, IN. I miss going regularly, but just had some carry out at a family dinner, & it was spot on! So my sister in law in Portage & Me in Hammond will travel out of our way for Popeyes’ at the Porter location which is housed in a Truckstop setting.

First time visit to this location inside the TA Travel Center. Quick service, friendly employees, clean tables/booths. Nice little place to stop for a quick bite if you’re in the area. There’s also a Taco Bell at this location if that’s your thing.

Wow this Popeyes is absolutely horrible. They never have chicken up. Ordered my food and they were out of almost everything. Then was told I have to wait for my fries well after waiting for 10 minutes they forget to drop the fries so had to wait longer. To top it off whoever the manager in the back with purple hair is is yelling and cussing at her employees. Heard her say the F word more than once, definitely not how a manager should act. The girl who took my order was at least nice. Seemed more scared of her manager than anything

One of the better Popeye’s located in TA travel center. The order taker was a bit more worried that I may have wanted chicken sandwich than finishing with the customer in front of me cause they were out. Overall service quick if not cordial. Only issue was the enormous pile of chicken and strips waiting on customers resulting in barely warm strips.

This is inside of a Travel America truck stop. We don’t know of. We don’t often choose Popeyes. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it seems all the restaurants are trying to outspice each other. Pretty sure it is a Pepsi restaurant and that’s not my favorite. Greg got the caramel something cheesecake and that is in no way worth $5 for that little tiny weight watchers looking square of cheesecake.
