Don’t judge a book you know the rest. Let’s talk food first crunchy meat filled lumpia pork chicken and beef also vegetarian. Ribs meat falls off the bone unique sauce tangy, sweet, tiny bit of heat . Pork pancit delicious tender meat veggies noodles great dish not spicy or sweet just great food, begging for your favorite sauce. Chicken calderet was sooo good hard to describe. Just know after tasting it I can’t stop thinking about when can I get more . Even the Mac salad was fire like all dishes. it’s a family recipe and is just right. They do catering and can handle large groups and have been doing so for the last 5 years. In November, they plan on expanding their already great menu and will have a full sized food truck. Currently, you can find them in the parking lot of the Country Kitchen Vierra cyn Prundale ca. Tuesday thru Saturday 3pm until 8pm. Their FB page has so many pictures of their different dishes they definitely know what they are doing .So if you are tired of all the burger and taco trucks, this is the next level of high-quality homemade food for you and yours to enjoy
Promise you won’t Regret it.
Your money is worth it. At McKayla caterings…So Go and taste it their Filipino food..you will be amazed by the taste
We were looking for a taco truck… and found a hidden gem instead!
While driving through Prunedale in search of tacos, we stumbled across the most incredible Filipino food truck and honestly, it was one of the best surprises ever.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The pork lumpia was so good, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since! Perfectly crisp, packed with flavor, and paired with their homemade sweet chili dipping sauce made from scratch and totally unforgettable. You can taste the love in every drop!
The adobo was next-level too tender, rich, and full of comfort in every bite. Seriously, everything we tried was amazing.
The gentleman running the truck was the kindest, funniest soul. He made us feel right at home and even shared a little backstory: the mac salad was his father’s original recipe (made with dill pickles), but he put his own twist on it by using sweet pickles. That small detail made the meal feel so personal and special.
I’m from Oakdale, CA, and let me tell you I would 100% make the 2.5-hour drive again just to eat here. It’s that worth it.
If you’re anywhere near Prunedale, don’t miss this place. It’s more than just a food truck it’s a one-of-a-kind, flavor-packed experience full of heart, history, and hospitality. Can’t wait to come back!
