We don’t take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it—and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That’s why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments. Join us for happy hour and dinner daily!

A Seafood Dream Come True in Colorado Springs!
We had a truly exceptional dining experience tonight at JAX Fish House in Colorado Springs. From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a treat, and our server, Sarah, ensured the entire evening was flawless with her excellent customer service and engaging interactions.
To start the evening, we enjoyed a wonderfully tasty and refreshing cocktail made with cucumber-infused vodka and lemon juice—the perfect palate opener.
The food was the star of the show. We started with an impressive spread of appetizers and raw bar selections, including the fantastic Deviled Eggs with Lobster that were rich and indulgent. The Calamari was perfect—so tender and incredibly tasty, definitely a must-try. We followed that with a dozen raw oysters that were incredibly fresh and flavorful, alongside a generous portion of delicious baked oysters. The 1/2 lb of Peel n Eat shrimp seasoned with Cajun spice was oh-so-yummy and highly addictive.
For our main courses, we enjoyed both the rich Carrot Risotto with Seared Scallops and the classic Fish n Chips. Every dish was executed beautifully and proved just how dedicated JAX is to quality seafood. Everything, without exception, was very tasty.

The fresh oysters were chilled to perfection, while the seared scallops arrived beautifully presented on a shell. With locally sourced ingredients and playful ‘Reindeer Snacks,’ it’s a delightful spot for holiday dining. Friendly staff as well.

My wife and I came in to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary and from the moment we were greeted till we left it was a great experience. We enjoyed our food and especially our service. Our server was Kerry and he was phenomenal on recommendations on what to try. The raw deluxe oysters and the lobster deviled eggs ( see pic) were super delicious.

I would say this place is certainly the best upscale seafood place in CS. They are of course a bit pricey but I wouldn’t say you are just throwing your money away. Everything we experienced was great, every dish was made with stellar love and excellent flavors. I really like everything we had, the chargrilled oysters were dynamite. The place is larger inside than you might think. The place opened at 4pm and filled up in about 20 min so they are doing fine. I enjoyed the ambiance, even with construction outside, the booths were nice, excellent service from the waitstaff and manager. Here, they give you time to enjoy your apps before rushing out the food. The drinks were excellent as well. Clean bathrooms and nice cool AC as well. If money weren’t a concern I would order 40 of the chargrilled oysters and drinks! Again everything we had was excellent. This place is kind of an upscale, creole/ cajun seafood place that puts much love in their food. Now if you aren’t impressed with the cuisine here, I know of a place down the street called ‘joseph’s fine dining’ if you go for more of the usual coloradian mentality flare.
