Modern venue for creative Pan-Asian fare including sushi & small plates, plus a lengthy wine list.

Service and atmosphere were superb, and I appreciated the good selection of vegetarian sushi options.
The drinks tasted good, though the presentation could have been better.
Unfortunately, the main dishes were a bit bland and lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. With improved seasoning and drink presentation, this place could be excellent.

Nice experience from start to finish. The host and waitstaff were friendly and helpful. Food arrived promptly, looking wonderful and tasting even better! We had calamari, spicy shrimp noodles, and Thai chicken wrap.

So. There was a strange odor throughout the restaurant, which may have been the carpet- I’m not sure. It was very off-putting.
Great wine selection.
The staff were all great and attentive.
The food was overall ok, but nothing extraordinary. I was hoping the Black Russian sushi roll was going to be more flavorful than it was.
The soft shell crab tasted mostly like the fried breading that was used. It was alright.

The food at Wild Ginger was delicious. A wide variety of Asian dishes on the menu. I had the Mongolian Beef, which I would absolutely get again. Cocktails were good. We sat outdoors, which was nice enough, but there is not much to see other than a parking lot. So I can’t recommend the patio for atmosphere, inside seemed nice.

Wild Ginger in Midlothian is an absolute gem! From the moment l walked in I was greeted and treated with warmth and professionalism by the super friendly staff. They make me feel welcome and appreciated, even when picking up my takeout. Now let’s talk about the food because wow! The chicken pot stickers are out of this world. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a savory, juicy filling that bursts with flavor. You can tell they’re made with care and high-quality ingredients. Then there’s the senang shrimp had a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and creamy with just the right amount of crunch. It’s the kind of dish you think about long after the last bite. And don’t sleep on the sunshine shrimp either. It’s a bright, fresh, and flavorful option that brings a fun twist to classic shrimp dishes. Each bite was perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and absolutely addictive. Whether you’re dining in or picking up, Wild Ginger delivers not just amazing food but also top notch customer service. It’s no wonder this spot has become one of my go-to favorites in Midlothian!

We hosted a holiday party for our staff, vendors, and some of our clients at Wild Ginger, and we were so pleased with the experience. From start to finish- making the reservation with Georgia, choosing from the many food options, the attentive service during our meal, and the taste, quality, and pricing of the food, everything was perfect. They even let us arrive a bit early to decorate the private dining room that we were using. We’ve hosted many events here and have enjoyed lunch here as well, and we look forward to many more experiences. Wild Ginger is truly top notch!

I had lunch there—it was my first time eating there. The service was impeccable and the dining room was very pleasurable. I had the fish tacos. It came with a side of sweet potato fries. They were. Cut thin, fried to perfection and I could have just eaten them, they were delicious. The taco shell was crispy, the fish was fried and the salsa fresh and teeming with flavor. It was a wonderful experience and I definitely will be dining there many more times!

The food presentation was beautiful, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Lucy was our server. My party ordered the extra ordinary roll, lamb chops, sunshine shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops & calamari. The lamb chops and sunshine shrimp were a favorite. We give the atmosphere a 4 because of the proximity of tables.

We had dinner to celebrate a birthday. Anna was our server. She was excellent. We had seafood masala, rockfish, cucumber salad and miso soup. Everything was great. They gave us a free dessert for the birthday.
The rockfish was the star. The masala had a curry coconut milk sauce. It had a lot of mussels, scallops and shrimp. The portions are big. They have a good wine list.
We didn’t have reservations but were there around 5 pm so we got a table near the sushi bar. The restaurant filled up quickly so next time we will make reservations. They have a small bar area, which was full and an outside eating area but it was looking onto the parking lot.

We arrived five minutes early for our reservation. They walked us to that back room to a small table by a blank wall. I told the hostess that this table was uncomfortable, And was it possible to be moved to the main dining room. She said those are for reservations only this is a non-reservation table. I told her in fact we did have a reservation and we were early for it. She gave me a glare that I won’t forget and stomped away, came back in a little bit and said we found you a table, but it’s right near the front door and if you want it, I can get it for you. I told her that Table in this claustrophobic back area, she grabbed her menus and walked as quick as possible, not even looking behind to see if we were following her or not, and brought us to the windy table by the front door. Actually, it was a nice table little bit of chill, but I’ve taken any day versus the claustrophobic back room. I am confident I will not be going back. We will not be going back due to the simple first impression sorry everything else was fine.
