The best thing about this place, it’s real food! No processed vegan garbage…real mushrooms, jackfruit, vegetables, tasty and clean!! No seed oils, just delightful food, great atmosphere and a gracious owner! Highly recommended!

I had been wanting to visit and support this restaurant for quite some time, and I recently had the opportunity to make the drive. When we arrived, the staff were very kind and welcoming. My son spoke with a few of the young ladies about the menu while I decided what to order, and their friendliness and patience really stood out.
We placed our order online and shortly after received a notification to come inside for pickup. The food came out piping hot and smelled amazing, which made us very excited to try everything.
Unfortunately, the taste did not quite live up to the presentation. The fish sandwich was extremely salty, and the mac and cheese did not have the flavor profile one would expect from that dish. The Alfredo looked very appealing but was fairly bland. The cauliflower wings were also not crispy and had a somewhat gummy texture, with some visible batter or flour still present, though they were generously coated in sauce. The sweet potatoes were the highlight of the meal and had a pleasant, mildly sweet flavor.
I understand that vegan food can sometimes be approached with different expectations, but I have been cooking and eating vegan meals for over ten years and truly enjoy them on a daily basis. In my experience, vegan dishes can be incredibly flavorful and satisfying, so I was a bit disappointed that this particular visit did not reflect that.
I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that it’s helpful, as I would genuinely love to see the food match the quality of the service. The staff were wonderful, and their professionalism and kindness made the experience pleasant overall.

The ambiance was really nice. It was cute inside and the music was relaxing. I wanted to love the food but there wasn’t anything about it that would make me come back. I’m unsure what ingredients they used but based on what I ordered I think the menu is highly priced. My 7 year old daughter got the Burger w/ sweet potato and Mac n cheese. And I got side Kale, shrimp Alfredo, and tuna salad for appetizers. My daughter said the sweet potato and the alfredo was her favorite. I think my favorite was the kale.

I finally got to visit Unbelievegan in Fairburn, GA on Saturday. I learned about this restaurant on TikTok and couldn’t wait to pay them a visit. One thing that attracted me to Unbelievegan is the owner’s commitment to using no seed oils. Not to important to some, but important to me.
I met the owner when I walked in, and he could not have been nicer. A lot of restaurants act like they are doing you a favor when you dine with them. This gentleman was truly grateful that I was there. There were SO many great dishes that I have seen on social media, and he patiently walked me through some favorites of others. I opted for the “Fysh Sandwich,” which is made with oyster mushrooms. For my side I ordered the Mac N Cheese and collard greens. Everything was a 10/10! The portion size was great, and I finished it all! Everything was well-seasoned, and as the owner said, it was food that didn’t leave me with a heavy, stuffed feeling.
The decor was very nice, and the cleanliness was impeccable. They had lively music playing, along with TV’s playing sporting events.
I took me 45 minutes to get here from Atlanta with moderate traffic, but the drive was well worth it! I can’t wait to return to try some of the other things on the menu.
I hope their next location is in Atlanta!!
It would be great to try a spot like this with a group so you can try more things on the menu in one visit.

The atmosphere and decor is really nice!!! I liked the chickpea and jackfruit salad with chips. The chips were good by themselves. The lemonade. The shots you cant sip and only take it to the head. There’s also vegan wine….

My daughter and I drove an hour to come and check this spot out after I was asked to review it. The environment was cute and quiet . The waitress was kind. The owner Donte arrived shortly after and asked that my daughter stop consuming her outside food in their establishment, that was completely fine with the both us. My daughter has food allergies and couldn’t consume the menu items. Again no issue with being asked to not eat what she brought in. It was the energy afterwards. My daughter and I watched Donte converse with another patron, letting him know about upcoming plans with the restaurant and so on. Not once did he ask how my food was or if there was anything he could do for us. It made me quite uncomfortable in such a small environment. The food was ok but it’s not the food people remember, it’s how someone makes you feel when you patron their establishment. I will not be returning. Donte I trust that you will take this feedback constructively and provide a better customer service experience to everyone in the future. Best wishes and mist success to you.

I ordered the Philly made with Jackfruit, it was good.. I had smashed fresh sweet potatoes, they were good. The greens were good but too spicy for me. Tea was so good ,little pricey but I was thinking about buying some more today. Maybe they will start selling in a half gallon. Ginger was great too. The atmosphere was relaxing, I don’t remember how long I waited on my order it was just that relaxing.

I truly enjoyed my time this evening with my friends. I was vegan for about 3 years and a vegan chef. I could never find a place with quality vegan food like I would make. I’m so glad there’s a vegan spot that’s black owned in Fairburn, GA. I will definitely come back because the food, drinks, customer service, and vibe was amazing!!!

My first experience at Unbelievegan was on my Birthday 2/7. Really enjoyed the DJ, and the live band. The atmosphere and vibe was mature and friendly. The owner was very engaging and delivered superb customer service. The staff was amazing and not to mention the food was so delicious. I must say this my favorite vegan spot not just for the food but the family dynamic it embodies.
