If I could give 6 Stars, I would. We came for my wife’s birthday celebration. I had asked when I made the reservation to be seated somewhere quiet. They seated us as far from the bar as possible keeping to the request. It was an excellent experience. Our waiter James was at the top of his game. The Crab Cake appetizer is a favorite for us at Eddie V’s and it did not disappoint. Sea Bass and Lamb was our main courses. The lamb was cooked to perfection and very tender. The sea bass I could have eaten with a spoon. The crab fried rice complimented the sea bass. They topped off the Birthday celebration with a dessert sampling. I can’t find a complaint or anything for them to work on improving.

Our server Keith was awesome — super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. He made the whole experience even better.

We just had an amazing meal at Eddie V’s. Our server was Moises and he was attentive and fun! The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the Parmesan Sole, and my husband had the Sea Bass. Excellent! The Bananas Foster Butter Cake is a must try. The cocktails were perfectly made. The atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone was friendly. We are full time desert residents and will be going back on a regular basis!

Food was excellent both in presentation and taste. Staff was very helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend the ahi tuna, oysters, crab, shrimp, filet and lobster. The cavier was the best i had ever eaten. The wine list is second to none. Be sure to save room for dessert, you won’t be disappointed. If your are in the Palm Desert area, this is a must for your dining experience.

Love the service and food. I had lamb chops and sliders and that was enough food for me. And its under $20 each item. The drinks were great. They provide bread/butter… Great service at the bar .. love it. Recommend if you wanna enjoy a pricey atmosphere on a budget. Seriously, other items on their menu can be on the pricey side high $20s to 60 for fillet mignon to over 100 for lobster etc

Called twice in the afternoon to make a reservation for my birthday it rang for 10 min but no answer or message recoding. Finally used open table asked for a choice of 2 tables we liked. We res reserved an early time to make it easier to get the table we liked. I told them it’s for my birthday. We have been going to Eddie v’s for the last 6 years the two of us spending from $300 to $500 per visit. When we arrived we were given a very small table that would have been okay if we were 12 years old. When we asked to speak to one of the managers who we knew quite well from our many visits we found three of them no longer worked there. Disappointed we told them to cancel our reservation and drove to Ruth Chris and spent.$410 for a great meal with great service. Eddie v did not recognize my birthday though I listed it on my reservation however I did not tell Ruth Chris in palm desert it was my birthday but when we were seated they congratulated me on my birthday. It just shows that you can’t depend on management to be consistent when they turn over so much. So sad. We will miss our visits to our old friend Eddie V

It was our first time visiting this group of restaurants. We were bowled over by the noise level when we entered the restaurant and asked to be seated at a quieter table. No problem.
We were seated in a private room with 5 tables. There was one other couple in the room during our entire stay. And it was quiet, very quiet. We felt that we missed the vibe/energy but could certainly carry on a conversation. We got what we asked for, sort of.
Food was excellent – Me Filet Mignon and she Sea Bass. Shared the smaller portion of al graten potatoes and esparaghas. 5 stars.
Sevice – good, but they must coach staff to constanly refer to us as “my friend(s)”. Almost to the point of being irratating.
Ambienace – 5 stars inside and out
Value – a bit pricy 2 mains, 2 sides, 2 glasses of wine, $250

We had such a great time at Eddie V! Our server Anthony was kind and very charismatic- he had us cracking up the whole night. Food was delicious and many non alcoholic options. Highly recommend. He even gave us a little dessert on the house to celebrate our upcoming wedding
