I rarely go out of my way to write a negative review, but my recent experience at this Smithtown location was genuinely disappointing and, frankly, concerning.
Quality of Food & Drink
The meal was subpar from the very first sip. I ordered a soda, but it was so poorly calibrated that it tasted like 70% plain water. There was almost no syrup, making it completely flat and flavorless.
When it came to the sandwich, the “Fresh Fit” promise was nowhere to be found. The vegetables were clearly not fresh—the lettuce was wilted and the overall quality of the toppings looked like they had been sitting out far too long. It’s hard to enjoy a sub when the core ingredients feel old.
Service & Hygiene
The most upsetting part of the visit, however, was the lack of professional standards regarding hygiene. The staff member preparing the sandwiches appeared extremely unkempt and dirty, to the point where it was difficult to feel comfortable with them handling food. Maintaining a clean appearance is a basic requirement in the food industry, and the lack of care here was highly off-putting.
Bottom Line: Between the watered-down drinks, old produce, and questionable sanitary standards, I won’t be returning to this location. There are plenty of other spots in Smithtown that take basic food safety and quality more seriously.

Got Veg sandwich. The patty tasted bad. To make it worse the bread and tomatoes in the sandwich was old too. Definitely not going there again.

What a wreck, you would think it’s pretty much standard knowledge of making a subway sandwich but they are lost. I ordered a footlong flatbread, and I received a small sandwich rolled up with 4 extra inches of unused bread. The made the sandwich vertically…how does this even compute?
I asked them why they were doing it this way and I was met with blank stares. I just took the sandwich and left because my frustration was so high and I had to get back to work.
I will not come back here.

Service and staff is horrible. They don’t notify you if they don’t have what you ordered online until you get there. Most of the time they close Very early.

Went in purchased 3 footlongs. 2 were meatballs and 1 grill chicken. After i got the ingredients on the meatballs the guy said they only come with parmesan cheese no veggies. I asked him why cause I always come in this location and have never been told that. He said he’s the manager and that’s how it is. I told him that’s ridiculous. When I looked on their website it said meatball sandwiches come with provolone cheese, parmesan cheese and any toppings of your choice. Now I really don’t understand the problem and why didn’t he make a fuss over me putting American cheese not provolone. Guess I won’t be going back there. No wonder this location only has a 3.1 rating.

Placed an order on door dash last week for two heros. I put toasted bread and selected Italian bread. Door dash picked up the order and delivered it to us. The bread was not toasted on either hero and they gave us plain bread, without even letting us know. Unfortunately they’re the only subway in our area. We decided to give them another try so about 10 minutes ago I called directly to kindly explain to toast the bread and to ask if they had the Italian bread before placing the order on doordash. I was very nice and kindly explained what happened last time. As I was in the middle of talking, the girl hangs up in my face and then wouldn’t answer the phone when I called back, so now I know it was intentional. I can promise everyone reading this, I was polite and courteous. This place is clearly run by morons. Honestly, what kind of business hangs up on a customer giving them an order? If the service is this horrible, I can only imagine how they serve the food. Stay away from this place!

The service is poor. The workers were not friendly and just treated my husband very poor . The food is disgusting, NOT FRESH. The chicken sandwich he ordered tasted like chicken that was a week old or more to say the least . This restaurant needs to be inspected and shutdown. We had to throw away the four sandwiches due to the lack of freshness that he ordered on top of that they only give you a skimpy portion of meat tomatoes etc . In addition to that RUDE , BAD ATTITUDE OF STAFF. No thank you !!!. I nor my husband will never ever order from this place again . Lesson learned. I rated a one star because I had to or I could not post this review , it really is NO STARS .
