Reviews
We tried several vegetarian dishes, and the options were quite good. We had the Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, which was okay, but a bit on the softer side. The Dried Cooked String Beans were really nice—crispy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. The Mongolian Tofu was another good dish, with a rich and slightly spicy sauce. The Vegetable Chow Mein was a satisfying and hearty option, and the Green Onion Pancakes were a standout—crispy, flavorful, and definitely a must-try!
The portion sizes are generous, and the food overall is tasty, but it is a bit on the oily side, which is something to keep in mind. That said, the variety of vegetarian dishes makes it a great spot for those who don’t eat meat.
The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a clean and comfortable setting. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service was efficient. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it a good value for an authentic Sichuan meal.
Overall, it was a nice experience and definitely a one-time must-try spot for Sichuan food lovers!
Chilli fried fish, my favorite, was so crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. So crispy the leftovers in the fridge were still crispy.
Chicken + string beans were great as well. The beef chow fun flavor was great but it had a lot of onion, just a tad too much for my liking.
Make sure to get a side of rice too, it really makes the entrees taste better.
Food [5 star]: Tasty, authentic and wide range of dishes + generous portions + very reasonable prices. It’s one of the few Seattle area restaurants in our list as places to go for high quality food with low (affordable) price.
Service [5 star]: The waiters and waitresses are nice, attentive and considerate. They don’t hover too much and the speed of food / cooking is amazing.
Atmosphere [5 star]: This is a newer location since their original place (not far from here) was remodeled / demolished. It’s simple, open and clean.
Will we be back? Absolutely
Went for my usual fried rice, cumin lamb, and fried chicken. Tried the Ravioli Soup for the first time, and it was nice.
Lamb was so nicely cooked, we took Feid chicken to go, and it was not that great. Maybe it would have been better right off of the pan!
Service and food come fast.
They do also offer dishes tailored toward “American Chinese” with sweet taste. So know what you want and order accordingly, while they are very accommodating to micro modify to your specific requests – i.e. less sweet, less oil, less salt, etc.
Dining room is simple yet comfortable. Service is friendly and adequate.
Mongolian beef and Kung pot
Amazing spices
I felt jipped at first seeing the cabbage in my Kung poa bit the flavor and sheer epicness of the dish overruled the fact…and it’s cooked so wellits barely crisp while still having flavor.
Literally 9 or 10
I need to try their broccoli beef and shrimp dishes.l still.
Price is completely affordable! 10 -20 max really.
Only complaint is with two full dishes I feel I should get 2 orders of rice. :/
Don’t Karen…..Don’t Karen…..Don’t Karen…… Im perfectly happy with it.
I will keep coming back wow!
