Service was friendly. For a la carte Kbbq, I was hoping for better quality meats. The brisket was cut thicker than what I’m used to, the pork jowl had an odor, the rib meat was too sweet, but the bottom sirloin was fantastic though. The sides and dumplings were great. The japchae was too sweet, and I wish the seafood pancake was thinner and more crispy. While eating, there was a strong odor of cleaning products that were used to clean the tables – it just degraded the experience for me.

Ah this might be our new favourite KBBQ/Korean place in Carrollton now for the price range especially. We got a beef & pork combo for 2 people, a monkfish spicy soup and a seafood pancake. That’s more than enough to feed 4 people with half a soup and 1-2 slices of pancake to bring home. EVERYTHING tastes great! The boneless beef rib was melt-in-your-mouth soft and you can see the marbling here, and the pork jowl was crunch and fatty and thickly cut how I like it! Their marinated pork rib and the other meat are also decent, not too sweet at all, and for i think $95, you got a really good deal, since every portion was bigger than I thought AND it came with a giant bowl salad, a big steamed egg, a big corn cheese and a small soybean paste soup. The monkfish soup was very umami & tasty, and for $19 you got like 6-7 pieces of thickly cut fish in there – we ran out of the veggies and only had half of the fish togo lol. The seafood pancake was big for $17, crispy on the outside, soft & fluffy inside and filled with seafood, honestly top-tier for sure in Carrollton if you don’t like dense & flat pancake like me. The banchans were varied too, they were not skimpy with the portion and everything tastes good, the kimchi is not overly sour or old!
Service was incredibly attentive and kind when we were there, our waitress cooked the meat for us and was very funny/willing to talk to us! Definitely a comeback for my family for sure!

Only my 2nd Korean BBQ meal – the service was great, very friendly. We ordered a mixed beef combo. They brought out an array of sides and a pile of beef which they cooked at the grill on the table. Not sure if they cook for everyone

I’ve tried many K-BBQ restaurants in Dallas, I was so excited to try this place because the reviews were good but unfortunately, this one was very disappointing. The banchan selection was limited and didn’t taste fresh — even the kimchi had an odd flavor compared to other places. The quality of the meat was just average and didn’t match the higher prices they charge.
The staff didn’t seem very welcoming. We even handed them an empty water bottle expecting a refill, but they never brought it back. Small things like that make a big difference in the overall experience.
With so many great K-BBQ spots in Dallas, I really expected better. Hopefully, they can improve their food quality and service in the future.

After 8+ years of Ari as my #1, this has taken the Gold! I came for the first time 3 weeks ago and already have been back 4 times. The quality of premium meat and pork are fantastic and the best quality outside of Korea, the service from the 이모님들 is also the best. I feel like I’m in Korea at my Korean aunts home when I come. Yes, jeju black pork is the best in jeju but in Dallas, look no further. P.S. don’t be shy to ask them to change the music.

Ham Ji Bak is famous for its pork ribs in LA, so I often went there to have ribs. When I was on a business trip to Dallas and wanted to eat Korean food, I came to Korean Mall – Furneaux Creek Village Shopping Center in Carrollton, which is in Koreatown, and was wondering what to eat, and when I saw Ham Ji Bak and went inside without thinking any further. It was so cold on the day I visited that l ordered galbitang and spicy stir-fried squid as a side. Honestly, the food wasn‘t as good as I used to eat in LA. However, the server was really friendly and like family, almost like an aunt, and she was really kind and brought the side dishes right away when they were running low, so I was able to finish my meal with 100% satisfaction. The taste of the food was a bit disappointing, but the customer service was top notch.

Everything was amazing! The banchan was delicious – the kimchi was probably the best we’ve had at any Korean restaurant, and the fish cakes and japchae were really good. Our food came out really quickly for us ordering an hour before closing, and the service was wonderful. My husband and I felt very taken care of and are so happy we stopped here for dinner! We will definitely come back!

Sue took care of our large party and helped us bbq all the meat. Excellent quality with such good banchan. My family truly had a lot of fun and enjoyed themselves. Splurge on the big pork and beef combo, you won’t regret it. Ask for their special sweet pickle pepper banchan, it’s so good with meat.
