Paid for a giant, got a regular. It was not made correctly, items left out. Got a refund, I paid for the regular instead. This is the second time they just totally missed the mark. They just flat out don’t pay attention, and don’t really show mastery of the craft. I was unable to get what I ordered consistently. I never have these issues at other Jersey Mike’s, so I will just conclude it is the demographic, and what comes with such. As one who worked in the food service industry for 27+ years, it saddens me to see how people just don’t make an effort, nor have a clue of what to do anymore. It sucks because I pass by that location daily on my way to work. I guess I am just going to have to go to Wawa, or Jimmy John’s instead which sucks, because I really like Jersey Mike’s, but I don’t like getting screwed over with mediocrity. Especially from such a great concept. Rob me with a gun, not a cash register and subpar service etc… Better still I will just make my own at home, as I went to culinary school, and worked the industry for 27+ years. This will the last time I settle for what they are putting down.

This downtown Cincinnati Jersey Mike’s is the worst. Went a few times on Tuesday’s and they don’t have any roast beef. Never been to a Jersey Mike’s that didn’t have toast beef?
Prior to today, the last two times we went they couldn’t make hot subs. The commercial touts they’re hot subs. Tried again today to get a hot sub and was told it would be 25-30 mins. We left. The guy doesn’t want to mess with hot subs and thinks you’ll say ok and get a deli sub. Same guy each time. Terrible customer service. Say… we’ll get that as soon as we can. Or take hot subs off the menu.

The absolute sweetest and most accommodating staff! Every employee is just so kind, and it’s so appreciated! Never have any issues with orders. Honestly, I typically order from this location via DoorDash and call to make modifications and they are just so, so sweet. Shoutout to this team!!

I was picking up a DoorDash from here. It’s 18° out and my washer fluid is frozen and I just asked them for a cup of water to pour on my window so I can see through it and all eight employees said they couldn’t do that unless I bought something. These people have lost their humanity. Where is your heart??!!

On June 4, 2025, I visited the Jersey Mike’s location co-owned by Glenn Ayers. During my visit, Mr. Ayers was loudly instructing customers to place their sandwich orders. With my head down, I heard him call out, “guy with the striped shirt.” Startled, I looked up and responded “tuna fish,” but he immediately moved on to the next customer without allowing me to finish my order.
When I reached the counter, I clarified that I wanted Swiss cheese and rosemary bread. Instead of acknowledging the confusion, Mr. Ayers mocked my earlier response by repeating “tuna fish” in a childish tone and proceeded to lecture me on how I should give my full order up front—without recognizing that he had not given me the opportunity to do so.
People shouldn’t be rewarded for that type of behavior.
While I previously frequented this location weekly, I’ve decided not to return. I understand that the store is family-owned, and they may not miss my business. However, it’s disappointing to be treated in such a dismissive and unprofessional manner.
It’s unfortunate because the rest of the staff have always been kind and courteous. I hope they are treated better than some of the customers appear to be.

The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever had. I ordered my sub extra grilled. They didn’t call and ask to make sure I didn’t want it toasted, they wrote on the bag and said their grill would incinerate the sub so they didn’t do it. I order it extra because the grill takes a while to heat it all the way through. I called asking for a refund and the lady was immediately confrontational and aggressive. She said she was the owner and it’s the franchises choice to do what they want and if I want a grilled sub I can get a pan out at my house and cook it myself. I was so irrational and shocked I cussed her out. How in earth do you run a business treating people like this? I definitely will not order from there again. I’ve had 100s of jersey mike’s subs and every other location does a great job.

I didn’t take a picture, but I have to say this was by far the absolute best sandwich I have ever ate. The customer service was top-notch.! I definitely recommend all of you to come down. I had the chicken bacon ranch and I was down the other day and had a turkey and everything has been pretty good actually.

The most amazing customer service & delicious sandwiches! I placed a very large catering order that turned out perfectly. The staff was so amazing in communicating with me to help me decide on how much food to order/ what to order. They made the process so easy, everything was ready for me right on time, the amazing staff brought it out to me, and every single sandwich was done exactly right. The owner took the time to follow up with me after the order to make sure I had a great experience. Not to mention everything was delicious. Great work & fantastic staff!!!
