Stopped in for breakfast on the way to Alamo Lake and it was well worth it! The kids loved their pancakes and my Country Benedict was delicious, not to mention big enough for two! The coffee was good, the service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. The dining room is cozy and busy, which made it a little noisy, but overall a nice experience and we’ll definitely be back.

As we were passing through Wickenburg around lunch time, based on good reviews, we chose Spurs Cafe as our place to stop. Immediately, I’m going to say it’s worth it.
It’s a small place, and follows through with the western theme, including the hospitality. We were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked through the door, and directed to a comfortable spot.
I asked the server about the Reuben and a couple at the next table was pleased to say they just finished one and it was great. That made it an easy choice. Our next option was a Grilled Cheese with Onion Rings, but a special order to satisfy Denise, adding Chopped Tomatoes with a side of Thousand Island. They were quick to oblige.
The sandwiches were very good, and the sourdough along with the Rye for the Reuben were standouts. Both very fresh and quite tasty.
As far as my nit-picky nature goes, the bottom of my sandwich was a tad greasy, and I’m not much for coated fries. Despite that, I’d go right back and get that sandwich again, but opt for the onion rings, as they were fantastic.
The Spur is a go-to restaurant in Wickenburg.

You can’t come to Wickenburg without going to Spurs! Quintessential cowboy breakfast right in the heart of town. I’ve been here a hundred times and never had a bad experience they are always on top of it and the food is delicious. They’re also great at hosting big groups!

By far the BEST food I’ve had in Wickenburg! The cutest little spot, with a western atmosphere that feels like a movie scene. The service was excellent and everyone was super friendly. Beyond that, the food was such high quality and very fresh. I wish I lived in this town so I could eat here more often, but I was just passing through. Perfect place to stop! I even got a photo with the owner/manager!

The food was amazing. Fresh and homemade. The sweet potato fries were to die for. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger with chipotle mayo. Wonderful flavor. The best part was our server. She was so friendly, upbeat, attentive, and helpful with ordering. It was busy in there and I understand why. We were seated quickly and service was fast. We don’t live in the area but will def make a return trip to eat here again. Breakfast items looked delicious.

Our party of six was greeted promptly and seated. The menu had so many choices it was difficult to make a decision. I had the turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich with fries; it was delicious! A few other people in our party had the BLT but with sweet potato fries and thought the fries were outstanding. Our server, Jackie, was very attentive and sweet. We all agreed to stop in again when in Wickenburg. Thanks, Spurs!

After adventuring nearby we decided to stop in for lunch. Their sign advertised breakfast until closing which after looking at their menu made my decision harder. Those biscuits and gravy looked tasty, but after a long hike I chose the club sandwich and potato salad. My husband had a BLT with a salad. Oh my goodness when my sandwich came out I was in shock. It was huge ha ha. I could only eat half of it. Thank goodness my husband picked up my slack to not let it go to waste. Everything was really good. Our server was wonderful and always made sure we had what we needed. I loved seeing the interaction with frequent diners. The location is very small and even on a Wednesday afternoon there was a wait list starting after we were done eating. Vibe is great and cozy. The light coming in from the window made it feel a lot more open.

Due to the restaurant being so close to tge movie theatre, I missed the entrance on two previous attempts to eat there. I am glad I did not give up. We got one of the last two tables during the breakfast rush. It was close to a window and I think it will be my favorite. The server was very accommodating. Tge breakfast came with an english muffin, and we requested these to be brought out while we waited for our entree. They were toasted to perfection, with lots of butter. We had to leave suddenly and requested the food to go. It was bagged and ready to go with coffee very quickly. We appreciate that.
