Stopped by Sonic a few days ago. It was pretty busy, so my order took a bit longer than usual, but the two carhops Anna and Jacob were great. They were friendly and professional, and you could tell they were doing their best even with the amount of people there.

The guy taking orders is unbelievably rude. I’m the only person there and he doesn’t answer so I drive around to another stall push the button and wait almost 10 minutes then he comes on and says “yeah”. That’s it, so I order ice cream and it literally took 14 minutes and it was partially melted. So they made it and let it sit. This place needs to shutdown. I’ll never go back. If you do go there, do not tip! The service and the food is horrible

I keep trying to be optimistic on this Sonic in Lago, mostly because it’s the only late and I work a ton of hours.. it’s hard enough working 2 jobs with no time to cook for my kids… I just needed this order…
“We don’t have sweat tea” I was told…
“You’ll have to wait 20-30 minutes for anything aside from a burger” basically …
The male on the intercom seems frustrated at ME for simply asking what was available… like, really dude?!?..
seems this place is hanging on by a thread.. this is literally the 4th time I’ve been screwed over AT THIS LOCATION!!! Please tell your staff- the website all indicates OPEN until 11pm. Why is nothing I wanted available? I’m guessing here, obvious to most I’m sure.. seems like this male didn’t want to pull out food or whatever the case…
Not cool to lead people on by advertising open until 11pm if everything BUT A CHEESEBURGER is either “Out” or being “told it would take longer to cook than the amount of time available” this is manipulation- this is not as advertised- the staff here need to be axed, or shut the dang place down… so tired of having a half-a’d people ruining what should have been a decent meal for my family… as mentioned before, and maybe I should know better by now,..

I’m a regular at this Sonic in Lago Vista. Originally, from Houston I have noticed that Sonic doesn’t provide the best service overall. However, my opinion was transformed after my interaction with Natalie. Kind, sweet, and attentive are only a few words I could use to describe her. She deserves a raise, a promotion and all the best in this competitive world! Thank you Natalie for making my day 🙂

Really gone down hill in quality lately. Consistently wrong orders. Whoever the person with the rough voice was taking orders today needs a serious lesson in customer service because the bad attitude is not a good look for this business.

The guy who was a manger tonight needs to get some customer service skills. They were slammed and had me wait 20 minutes to place my order. After the 20 minutes I was told I’d be waiting a while. They refused to take my order. Kaylee the bell hop however had a great attitude the whole time. Even after being talked down to by the manager and I’m sure multiple people. We’re in a little town where how you treat others does a long way!

I think some of the vehicle ordering spots need service. Had to move a couple times to locate one that functioned. Then payment system wasn’t working well either. Owner needs to do some repairs. Last, whomever took orders was having a really bad day and wanted to make sure the customers knew it.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My kids’ drink was “upgraded” to a medium without me asking, mustard was added to a kids’ sandwich even though I never ordered it that way, and when I tried to call to fix the situation, the phone didn’t work. The girl who delivered our food was no help at all. Very frustrating experience.

Update: figured i would try sonic again. I ordered 1 large tater tot, burger, and a drink. Dean took my order, didnt bother to tell me the total or anything. Was just cut off. Waited 5 mins, and got cold tater tots, with an extreme amount of salt, so much salt that i couldn’teat them.. Asked if I could get some honey mustard. The car hop rolled her eyes when I asked for them and when she had to come out to bring me some.

Pulled up, it was me and one other car. There were 6 cars in employee parking. Pushed the button, was told very rudely to hang on by a male voice. After sitting there for 5 mins, another car pulled on the lot, pushed the button and their order was taken right away. Pushed the button again and a couple of mins later a female voice asked what we wanted to order. She was very nice, got my order exactly as I said. 3 mins go by, and as we are waiting for our order a male manager walks around from back of store and asks if our order has been taken. This is with only 3 customers. This store is not what it used to be and management needs to take some classes.
