Came here for breakfast at 10:15am and the place was packed! Waited about 20 minutes to get seated, not too bad. Kim was my server and she was right on point with service and as pleasant as can be. Everyone was really hustling! My meal was excellent and so very filling I had to take half of it home to enjoy later on that day! I would definitely recommend coming to try this Diner and I will be back.

I had what I am calling “The Donna Burger” because I combined a couple different ones. I had the mushroom burger with grilled onions and A-1 steak sauce. OMG, this is DELICIOUS! Was worth the wait knowing it was made to order! Fries were nice and hot. Great service and clean restaurant.

Darrells on 301 closed so have been coming here recently. Same good menu and Same good service. Can be crowded at times but haven’t had a problem getting seated. Mountain Scrambler is awesome with jalapeños.

Pretty basic diner. Everything you’d expect from a small diner chain in Florida. Our servers were lovely and professional. I have eaten at this specific Villages location and if you’re not familiar with the area, it’s a retirement area. Every time I’ve been here there are some disgruntled octogenarians complaining about something. Which, no judgements, hopefully we’ll all make it that far and be complaining ourselves. Just a heads up.
Eggs were not dry, bacon was well done, gravy on the chicken fried steak was very peppery which I enjoy. The wrap was pretty decent, fries def could use more salt. But I personally would stick with breakfast items.

Totally SUCKED ! Really excited to see the new Darrel’s. However Sunday brunch cook was horrible. 45 minute wait for food where even neighbors couldn’t believe we hadn’t been served yet. Not one of our 4 plates came out correct. Burnt or raw was all we got. Never again ! Ever. At any location ! None. Never.

I am visiting from out of town and I decided to stop by Darrell’s Diner for a quick lunch. To be honest, I’m not sure how this place has so many good reviews because this was by far the worst food I have ever had. I got the cheeseburger with fries and when I tell you I could have gotten more flavor by taking a bite straight out of a live cow…and the fries were equally as awful and flavorless. No ketchup or salt could help that one. and the water!? jesus…the water was god awful. there was a horrible metal taste in the water.
Our waitress was Cathy and although there were some slip ups overall she was very kind and she did try her best.

You would think for a breakfast dinner they would know how to cook pancakes. Dry on outside under cooked in the middle. Friendly server. 1 person waiting on whole place and busting tables and cashier all in one. Might tell wait staff to hold back on the perfume. Wow very over powering. $13 for coffee 2 eggs 2 sausage.

Great place for a bite to eat. There are a lot of tables, more than normal at a Darrell’s Diner. The food is delicious and prepared perfectly. There is plenty of free parking.
