Really enjoyed eating here. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. The curry had great depth and wasn’t overly heavy, and the naan was amazing—soft, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. You could tell it was made fresh and it paired really well with the curry. The staff was super nice and kind. I love the vibe here.
Portions were generous and everything tasted well-seasoned without being too spicy. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe was comfortable and relaxed.
Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving good Indian food. I’d come back again.

Hidden Gem! I passed through before and it was not crowded so I only ordered a Samosa which had me wishing I dined in. This time I sat in and I had the Fish Thali, Hot***. It was excellent. The place was not crowed again (which i was secretly please about! By the time I finished cleaning my plate and licking my fingers more patrons had arrived to enjoy their selection. This small family style restaurant had great service and delicious food. I will return for more Thali!!!

Update January 2026: Kathamandu Spice is still a five star establishment. Plenty of Gluten Free and Vegetarian, as well as Vegan, Dairy Free, and Nut Free options. Their Chicken Chowmein, and Chicken Sekuwa are very Good as well as their Bhindi(Okra) Fry, and if you can tolerate A Lot of Spice and Heat, then get their Kerau ko Achar!
Recommended dishes: Chicken 65, Mango Lassi, Garlic Naan, Onion Naan, Butter Chicken, Vegetable Korma,
, Chicken Chowmein, Chicken Sekuwa, Bhindi Kathamandu Fry, Saffron Rice, Chicken Saag, Paneer Masala, Malai Kofta, and Wai Wai Sadeko!
Excellent staff and Very Good food. I chose to dine in and am glad I did! I started with a Banana Lassi and then ordered some Garlic Naan and Butter Chicken(Mild) for dinner. The Butter Chicken spice level seemed stronger than mild and I did not mind at all, as I enjoy spicy food. The Garlic Naan was very fresh with plenty of garlic. Looks were deceiving with the Butter Chicken. I was surprised how much meat and sauce was really in the bowl. I finished with the carrot pudding which was Good. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and like Indian, Nepalese, and/or spicy food!

SO YUMMY!! And seriously authentic!! We’re VEGANs and found lots of options AND gluten free options!! The appetizers in particular were melt-in-your-mouth delicious! We really liked that they combined Indian with Nepalese foods so there was an incredible variety of new tastes for us. DEFINITELY worth you’re checking out!! FAB!!!

I go to a lot of Indian places at random, different parts of the country, and I can say that this was the best lamb vindaloo I’ve had in years.
The garlic naan smelled and tasted amazing, I would have to say that it is actually the best I’ve ever had, and that is saying a lot.
The presentation is traditional and the service was very speedy and they checked in on us a lot.
It’s in a strip mall so the appearance is limited to what they can work with, but I’m not going to take points off of people for their location.
I plan on going here every time I’m in Manchester for events.

So good! We had the cheese pakora, chicken korma, jhole momo, and mango lassis, and we enjoyed everything! Very flavorful, well spiced, huge menu, many vegetarian options, and very reasonable prices. You get a lot of food! We will definitely be back with the rest of the family so we can try more dishes.

During my recent trip to Artist Bluff in New Hampshire, I sought out some Nepalese cuisine on my way back and discovered Kathmandu Spice in Manchester. The food was amazing, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. A great find!
As of Oct 2024.

We’ve been to Kathmandu Spice several times over the years but I’ve never left a review. The food tonight was AWESOME. Everything we had hit the spot perfectly. We ordered the mixed momo, a korma, saag paneer, plain naan, Nepali soup, barutha, and paratha. It was way too much food and we’re going home with lots of leftovers.
