Since moving we have been on the hunt to find a donut place to replace our favorite Bosa Donuts. Oki Mochi is it. These donuts are fantastic. No runny soft icing, the perfect fluff, no greasy film or fryer oil taste. We love this place!! The cinnamon roll donut is a family favorite but the old fashioned donuts are a close second. They make amazing traditional donuts and beautiful fun mochi donuts. These are the best donuts we’ve had in Kansas City!!

Large selection of donuts as well as breakfast sandwiches, teas, smoothies, and coffee drinks. Restaurant was clean and service was quick. We tried both the Japanese and American style donuts – all were very good. We definitely plan to return.

Me and my boyfriend came in, the atmosphere was amazing. It was calm and relaxing. The nice lady working was so sweet!!! The donuts were absolutely delicious and come to find out she makes them by hand!!!! Even the drinks were great and didn’t take long to be made! We WILL be coming back!

Writing this after a second visit, I’m so glad I went back. The mochi donuts are fresh and chewy with fun flavors. This time I tried the sausage breakfast croissant and it was delicious and a great size for the price. And thank you for the free donut holes they were delicious as well. Will be back soon! 🙂

Boba tea was exceptional, and a great size not overfilled with ice. Doughnuts were fresh and quite delicious. Staff was friendly. The whole atmosphere was relaxing, and the store felt clean and well maintained.

It was my first time here and I tried the Cronut, a mochi donut and their milk tea. Everything was very tasty! Staff were very nice and place was very clean and inviting! I will definitely go back and get more cronuts!

These doughnuts are chewy but light and fluffy. If I was on a cooking show, I would talk about the great ‘mouth feel’ We had the churro, lemon, and maple. The mochi ring shape makes these great to share, and easy to eat. All the dough was the same (a simple, lightly sweet rice dough) and then they put on toppings. The maple was a lot like a regular maple bar, the churro was tasty, but the mochi dough really shone with the lemon. Yum! We didn’t get beverages, because $3 for a doughnut is already pretty high, but given food prices these days, and how good these were, we’ll definitely go back as a special treat.
