Probably one of the more disappointing restaurants I’ve been too. Mediocre food that’s expensive for what you get with a cold atmosphere. There are much better options for sushi at a better price in Anchorage.

I have been eating here since the restaurant opened. It was my favorite restaurant in Anchorage and if I ordered out this was the go to for me and my kids. The food took a steep downturn in the last year. Tonight I ordered a Ronnie roll which is supposed to have sweet beef on top. I got tempura batter that was fried and sauced as though it was beef instead of beef. I have ordered this roll many times and have never had any leftovers previously. This went in the trash after a couple pieces. My son enjoyed his crunch roll which is the reason I did 2 stars instead of 1. Generally I would contact the restaurant but the quality overall in the last year has shown that this is the new standard. I used to sing this restaurants praises but I won’t be returning.

Easily 5 stars. Complimentary miso soup with salad. We ordered a large boat and were able to swap out a roll for a different one with no issue. They gave us complimentary fried oreo and edamane as well which was great. I would definitely come here again.

Very cool little sushi spot. The food portions were surprisingly large. The MiSo soup was refreshing and complementary. The presentation of the sushi was aesthetically pleasing. The decorations and fish tank are neat. The names of the Sushi rolls are humorous. I would recommend trying Ronnie Sushi at least once.

Ronnie Sushi has always been 10/10 every time I go. I’ve made a habit of going everytime I’m in Anchorage. I’ve tried quite a bit of the sushi so far haven’t had one I disliked. I’d strongly recommend the Yakatori Chicken.

Amazing food always want more need to take pictures next time…forgot this time as we just dove right into the food! I have some fish allergies, their chefs are impeccable I have never had an allergic reaction which is saying a lot. 2 months later (it is now July 2023) still my go to for amazing sushi. I can’t even look at store sushi knowing that for a few dollars more I can have it fresh and made just for me…here’s pics of my 2 fave rolls and fave house apple sake when not working

I would give 5 stars but the rest of the table was scared to death of the waitress. I thought she was fabulous and the 3 full grown men were scared to ask for extras or a box.
The food was great, the rolls are huge and fresh. I would highly recommend going if you are in town and are craving some sushi. By far the best place in anchorage.

Wonderful experience at Ronnie Sushi. The staff was very kind, sushi was delicious and well priced, and the atmosphere was perfect for my daughter’s birthday dinner. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure!
