Yes they were busy but lady on front line was unfriendly. Took man in front of me 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee. Man asked politely but she had smart comments to make and waited on other people before getting him a simple coffee. Another worker had to get it.

Manager was too quiet and not helpful leading her team. The other McDonald’s in town is much better at customer service.

I just stopped there this morning and ordered a large black ice coffee with 6 pumps of liquid sugar (don’t judge me lol) anyway, she tried to charged me $7.41 even though multiple signs advertise any size for $1. I left without a purchase that’s insane!!!

I ordered two grinch meals on the app. I go to pick them up and I’m given regular meals. I had to ask where the box, salt, and socks were, they just say oh, we’re out. What I’m assuming is the manager comes to the window and basically just says “sorry” and walks off. So pretty much paid $7 extra just to receive two regular meals.

I tried to leave feedback on the website multiple times and it won’t even go through.

I won’t be back to this location.

Horrible service and completely unprofessional staff at the Whiteville McDonald’s locations.

My first visit was at the JK Powell Blvd location. I placed a dine‑in order and was made to wait over 30 minutes just to pick up my food. By the time it was ready, my entire order was cold, and my guests had to eat without drinks because the staff never brought them out. That is disgusting and unacceptable.

On my second visit at the Madison Street location, I went through the drive‑thru. Once again, the fries were cold. When I politely asked for hot fries, the front window attendant seemed willing to help, but a staff member in the back got offended and started shouting and swearing, insisting the fries were “hot as hell.” Being cursed at by employees for simply asking for fresh food is beyond unprofessional.

Both experiences show a clear pattern of horrible service, disrespectful staff, rude customer service, and vulgar language. When these restaurants were under Rust Enterprises, issues were handled professionally. Now, it feels like they let anyone play with your food and disrespect customers.

I will not be back. Other McDonald’s locations — Hope Mills, Fayetteville, and Elizabethtown — are far better than this sorry excuse. Columbus County McDonald’s has lost my business.

Ordered a double cheeseburger, a wrap and 2 small waters. The Double Cheeseburger was burnt, the bread was burnt, and it was slapped together, half on bun, half off. The wrap had a piece of chicken on it the size of a French fry. They also charge $.79 for each small water. Customer friendly, I think not.

So this is the second or third time this has happened which is why I’m leaving a review and leaving my comment on McDonalds web site. I went to the drive through today ordered a quarter pounder meal a happy meal cheeseburger and two different pies. They gave me my kids meal at the window and then as I found out the last time quarter pounder meals are made to order. So I was pulled to the last window and waited 15 minutes from the to bring me the rest of my food and they only brought me just my meal not my pies. So I called inside and the person identified themselves as a manager and I explained to them what happened and she sent said she was sending someone with my pies. This is my lesson learned I didn’t look in the bag and and when I got home one of the pies was wrong. As a consumer when I pay for something I feel as though I should get what I paid for not what you want to give. As I said on the phone this is redicolous to wait only to be given the wrong food.

Recently every time we come here, it is like pulling teeth to get them to give us our food in a timely manner. We order and 20 to 30 minutes later we have to go to the counter and get them to give us our food. Then we have to wait for it to be prepped. We are usually the ONLY ones in the dining area.
