I have to say, the restaurant itself is very good! The main selling point is that the food arrives on its own, and it really did. The place was really good with modern floors and good seating. The seating and ordering are fully automated, the menu tablet is modern and has English translations for tourists to order properly. The food itself is good, and the prices are great! (But since I ate a lot, which I rarely do, the price went up to normal )
The location here is really good for seeing the Tokyo Sktreee and has good access to public transit and accessibility due to elevators being inside the store and outside.

Just like other Kura sushi branch but it spans 2 separate floors with handicap accessible for the first floor.
Exceptional value for money and located right across the Skytree.
The quirk with this store is that the gachapon is not on every table but instead, you put your plates as usual and the winnings (if you do win it) will be recorded in the QR code that you use. You can then scan your QR code and get the gacha from the big gachapon near the entrance once you’ve finished eating.

Kura Sushi is one of the largest sushi restaurant in Japan as well as US. The company Kura is publicly traded on NASDAQ.

Cool : There isn’t any waitress/waiters at this restaurant as everything is automated with machine so they can focus on developing such a great menu.

Food : The quality of food is phenomenal at that price. It comes fast and you wouldn’t complain.

It’s a very big Kura restaurant, and compared to others the wait time is way less.

I was able to get seated almost immediately,
It was at lunch on a weekday.

They have some exclusive pieces, but it’s tasty and fun like always

We had fun eating here. The sushi quality was mostly good with a few tough pieces. You can grab sushi off the conveyor belt or order special pieces from a tablet.
You’re supposed to be able to play a gacha game for every 5 plates, but we didn’t get to.

I was disappointed with my experience at this store. You expect a flagship to be the best run outlet as it attracts people from all over the world to visit. Sadly, I was wrong. I first found hair in my sushi. Second, we saw a spider crawling around the booth. The utensils were also pretty dirty.

The wait time for this Kura sushi was 10 minutes on a weekend, which is great. The variety of sushi is okay. They don’t have many drink options. It is summer and there’s no option for cold water with ice. If they had ice water as a drink option it would be a five star review.

The quality of sushi is very good for the price. This conveyor belt sushi is FAST, like within 2 min., you receive your sushi request! Great taste for fast food.

Although this Kura is a “flagship” store, I didn’t see any difference between a regular store except for the nice location across the street from Tokyo Skytree in the Richmond hotel. This restaurant has a huge display game for the gachapon, if you win. (When you eat your sushi, you drop your empty plates into a slot to win a gachapon, redeemable at the big display.)

The clean and welcoming interior is inviting. The curtains at each table provide partial privacy. Compared to other Kura stores, this restaurant fried their dishes well. The corn and fried fish dish tasted fresh from a fryer (or at least not microwaved).

We ate 22 plates of sushi. The bill was roughly $40 USD, which could easily be 2-3X in the USA. There was no wait and not many people on a Wednesday, 2PM.

This flagship store does not offer fugu, but Kura Kura Asakusa flagship does.

We love Kura Sushi! Our first time and food was delicious, and prepared very quickly. Kids will really enjoy the Plate game at the end to try and win Gatchapon. Advance reservations are recommended if you are planning to visit at peak times.

It was a great dine-in experience at Kura Sushi. We went for dinner after Sky tree and were famished.
Everything was so flavourful. Sashimi was great. We tried a lot of items from the menu and to my surprise everything tasted so good and fresh.
The best part was that it was a weekday so there was no rush and no waiting time to get to the table.
