I really wanted to like this place, but it just never got off the ground. I ordered the ham special and ended up with the Amighetti’s special instead—not the biggest mix-up in the world, but definitely not what I was looking forward to. The sandwich, even with all the fixings, was oddly bland. I kept waiting for some kind of flavor to show up… but it never did. Toasting it might’ve helped, but only so much.
I gave the pasta salad a shot too, hoping for a redeeming side. No luck—it was just as forgettable.
Service was slow, and it felt like the place was running on fumes. Overall, the visit left me more disappointed than satisfied. With so many great spots out there, I don’t think I’d give this one a second try. Wish I went to Jimmy John’s nearby instead.

I went here to get their bagels. This place has different variety of bagels. I ended up getting their blueberry, garlic, cinnamon raisin and jalapeños and cheddar. The dills cream cheese is interesting.
There were not as many staff here so it did take sometimes to get the bagels. Parking was street parking.

We order 2 small sandwiches. We asked for a receipt and didn’t receive one. When our food came out we were given 2 large sandwiches. My husband went and asked for a copy of our receipt. We realized we were charged for 2 large. My husband brought this to the attention of the man who waited on us. He was busy so he said he would handle it when he finished with who he was waiting on. We began to eat when the man came over to us with gloves on and said he would take our food and correct the error. We told him we already began to eat so he reaches over and takes both of the other halves of our sandwiches and said he would credit us for the price of the large sandwich!!! I was absolutely shocked that he would grab our food off our plates!!! Any other place would have just given a credit and left the food!! We will never return!!!

You GUYS!!!! A friend recommended this place, so figured we try it. You. Will. Not. Be. Disappointed!! I had soup and also the sandwich! The soup had so much flavor and was so hearty and oh so delicious!! The sandwich? Oh. My. Goodness!!!! It just melted in your mouth. The bread…to die for. The service was pretty awesome. They made recommendations and checked in with us to make sure we enjoyed our meal! OH and we had the “toasted” ravioli l….so good. The marinara sauce was so good too!! I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this place!! Thank you so much for making our last meal in MO, one to remember! I may have to try the shipping as this is one I’ll be craving! 😉

Delightful little slice of the best of StL. ⚜️Great and pleasant service. Homemade sides that are perfect. We went with the traditional special sandwich and the salmon meatball sandwich. . Hank’s Cheesecakes on site as well.

This used to be my favorite sandwich place. I have been disappointed the last few times I have been there. This time the bread was so overdone and/or stale that we could not even bite through it for fear of breaking a tooth. Too bad. We won’t be back.

I went to this establishment last week ordered my normal sandwich only to bite into it and be stabbed in my mouth by a staple !! I called the restaurant and left a message the owner Anthony Favazza contacted me I went to the hospital to meet the owner with the sandwich and staple he looked over it took pictures haven’t heard from him since now the respectable thing to do would be give me a full refund which he has not done this isn’t acceptable and is definitely the wrong way to treat your customers

I’m ashamed to admit that this is my first time eating here and I can’t brag enough. I ordered the Loaded Special and it is delicious. The bread alone is perfect. I will definitely be eating here more often.
