Home of the top-rated burger in NYC, the Suprema Burger.
Suprema was inspired by the great salumerias of Rome, tapas bars of Barcelona and sidewalk cafés of Paris. The restaurant offers a standout selection of pasta, salumi and cheese boards, pinsas, and savory entrées along with a fine wine and cocktail program crafted by renowned sommelier Joshua Wesson.
From truffled deviled eggs to pork shoulder lasagna, Suprema’s menu journeys across Europe and America.
Italian eatery & wine bar for salads, meats, cheeses & larger plates, with a grocery section too.

The visual was better than the taste. The burrata pasta was incredibly salty. I couldn’t take a single bite without needing to gulp water or eat the waffles. I couldn’t taste any flavor besides salt. The waffles were very dense, not the fluffy kind. They were good at first bite, but after eating a bit the density was too much it felt too thick like I might choke. They weren’t very sweet either. I do not recommend those two dishes.

The place is spacious and works well for meeting up with friends.
It does get loud during Saturday brunch.
The food is average, but the staff are friendly, service is fast, and overall it’s a pleasant experience for this price range.

Fantastic food and service! We drove down from Yonkers now 3x! This time, we had the short rib fettuccine! Omg! It was delicious! Great drinks, great service! Wonderfully kind waitress and an amazing atmosphere!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give a zillion stars, I absolutely would! The SUPREMA BURGER is next-level …short rib, brisket, Iberico jamón bacon jam, black garlic sauce, aged cheddar, and roasted tomatoes all piled on a buttery brioche bun. Every bite is pure perfection. The cocktail I had? Just as amazing…cute, flavorful, and crafted to perfection. Totally in love with this tucked-away gem in the West Village! I loveeee when they have the NYC Restaurant Week Deals (this spot has an amazing one!)

Great vibe, a little on the noisy side, but it fits the overall hustle and bustle of this neighborhood, especially on a weekend night. The service staff was attentive and helpful. The food is decent. I ordered pasta rosa, which was flavorful, but it was not cooked well, it was gooey. I’m assuming it was precooked and sauteed when ordered. As an Italian, it did not meet my standards at all.

We had such an amazing time at Suprema in the West Village! We ordered prosecco and pasta, and everything was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. But what really made the night special was the service. Milica took care of us and she was truly incredible — warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcome the entire time. Can’t wait to come back!

Too loud, the food is mediocre and the service is meh. Not sure if it was because we got the restaurant week menu but the food was simply one dimensional and too salty.
Also, everyone at the table ordered tiramisu and the portions are incredibly uneven.

It’s slow season so it was empty but the service was good. We sat at the bar. They have blue cheese olives that are not block of cheese but like a creamy cheese. They are delicious! My only negative comment would be the truffle deviled eggs. They are delicious however they sent out 3 halves. We were left wondering where’s the other half ?? It’s 2 eggs! Sending an egg and a half out as an appetizer seems like a joke.

I have lived in New York for years and I can honestly say this was one of the most disturbing restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.
I came here last night excited to reconnect with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time. Instead of enjoying good food and atmosphere, we witnessed what felt like a public humiliation session.
An older man — who we later found out is the owner — began aggressively screaming at his staff in front of a full restaurant. He was yelling at a young blonde woman who looked visibly shaken and afraid. He then stormed toward the kitchen, shouting insults, slamming his fists, and creating a scene so hostile it felt like it could turn physical at any moment.
At one point he jumped up, threw chairs, and continued screaming across the room.
The entire staff looked terrified. The energy shifted from dinner service to absolute chaos. It felt toxic, volatile, and deeply uncomfortable to witness.
No employee deserves to be treated like that. No guest should have to sit through that.
I don’t care how good the food might be — leadership like this creates an environment of fear, not hospitality.
I will never return, and I would strongly encourage others to consider where they choose to spend their money.
