The Weighted Plate is amazing! The staff here is super friendly and welcoming, which made my experience even better. The food and drinks are fantastic — I especially loved their cocktails with egg whites (don’t worry, you can’t taste the egg, it just adds a nice frothy texture on top). It’s so rare to find places that offer that!
I ordered the Country Breakfast and the Raspberry Sour, and both were excellent. They serve breakfast/brunch until 2pm, and they also have a full selection of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and coffee served all day. On top of that, they offer WiFi and have plenty of seating with outlets throughout the space, making it a great spot to relax or get work done. There’s even outdoor seating in the back if you’d rather enjoy some fresh air.
I’m only in town for the weekend but ended up spending the entire day here two days in a row because I enjoyed it so much. They also have plenty of other drink options if egg whites aren’t your thing.
Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!
The service was split right down the middle, one person was genuinely great, the other seemed to be actively auditioning for “Worst Employee of the Month.”
We came for a punk show, but halfway through, the stage lost power and the whole thing screeched to a halt. Nothing says punk rock like waiting around in awkward silence while cowboy boots and checkered button-ups shuffle past you (at a punk show, no less).
Food and drinks? Very limited. Bathrooms? Also limited. Crowd? Mostly hyper-local, with an unexpected number of children running around. It’s a strange mix: DIY energy, suburban family vibes, and technical difficulties all rolled into one.
Not the worst night out, not the best. Just… kinda weird.
