We waited over 45 minutes for our food to come out. This is the worst food I’ve had in Colorado Springs and the worst Thai food in my entire life. This is not Thai food – it’s a sorry imitation that has almost no flavor and is an insult to Thai culture. The curry was watery and Thai Tea left a bad aftertaste. We only ate about 1/3 of our meal. Avoid at all costs.

Spring rolls, egg rolls, eggplant tofu, and one another dish from the Curry menu.
They gave rice to curries which was not completely enough for us and we took another vegetable fried rice.
The rolls were so good. The fried rice was also very tasty and very hot as per request like the Thai spice.
But both the curries are okay okay. Like they were good but did not get the Thai flavors or spice. But can say they they tasted awesome with the vegetable fried rice.

I’m a tour manager from LA for a group of retired travelers visiting Colorado for a week-long rail trip throughout the state. We were in town for a scatter lunch. A small trio of town ambassadors suggested I dine here with my driver, so we did.

Pros: cheap $10-10.50 daily lunch specials. The Thai iced tea was delicious and made just right — perfect ratio of black tea to condensed milk.

I had the Wild Ginger Pad Thai lunch special, which came with your choice of hot & sour soup or chicken rice soup. I chose the latter and it was tasty.

The pad thai was also delicious — moist and flavorful. Only 2 pieces of shrimp, however.

Cons: there are ZERO curries listed in their daily lunch special offerings. Most Thai restaurants offer at least 1-2 curries on their lunch special. Here, they list their curries for $15.50+.

Service was severely lacking. They were NOT FRIENDLY or hospitable at all. We were seated, they took our order, served us food, and NEVER came back to check in. I had to ask for a chili tray, more water, and a check.

I also asked for a to-go box for my noodles as well as a to-go cup for my half drunk Thai tea as I wanted to bring it with me on the bus. It was hot out.

I was then given a plastic round container and a lid as well as one of those take-out boxes that you’d typically get at a Chinese restaurant.

When I asked about a cup to go for my tea, the lady working nonchalantly answered, “We don’t have any” and pointed to the container. When I asked her how was I supposed to drink my tea on the go, that the container is for food, not a beverage, she just shrugged and left.

HOW does a restaurant NOT have to-go cups? Has anyone not ordered Thai tea or Thai coffee to go? Unbelievable, and even more bothersome that the lady was so unconcerned with my needs as a customer. It was the lack of warmth and hospitality that did not warrant a gratuity in the end.

Only the cook deserves praise. The front of house staff are like robots. No smile. No conversation. No check-in. Nothing. I get that in Thailand, this is how it is. I have traveled there. I, myself am Asian, and in the Asian culture, we let diners be. However, this is America. The restaurant culture in America is not the same in Asian countries.

I’m in the service-based industry too, and tips are part of our livelihood, but I believe in working hard for your money. Customer service is everything, but unfortunately, the staff here exemplify zero customer service skills.

My partner and I sat down here and had a good meal. Our food was great but… the great meal took a ridiculous turn.
I ordered #5 on the menu, pineapple duck. The menu price is 16.95. I posted a picture of the menu and our check. When the check came it was 21.95. Our server apologized and told me it was his mistake but they could not do anything about it when we came up to pay at the cash register. I argued a little bit about it and he went back to ask someone if they could fix it and he came back and said no. I argued a little more and he went back and got the lady he was talking to. She came out YELLING at me that they weren’t going to honor the menu price. Now we are yelling back and forth at each other over the cash register in front of other guests. She said fine I’ll honor it this time but never again. I said that’s cool we will never come back here. She said great we would prefer that.
Sorry, no. You can’t just charge whatever price you feel like that differs from your menu.
Especially when they are aware of it. The server even told me this has happened a few times already.. put a sticker over the price with the new one what’s the problem?

You now lost a customer that eats out for every meal , and got a one star review out of it. You’re going to YELL at me over a mistake YOU made?!
SCAM!

Very satisfying overall! My dish was Pad Thai Puck. My daughter’s was Thai Seafood Noodle Soup. My significant other had Green Curry with chicken. Then we split a bowl of fried rice! Great service. Great food. Will keep coming back to try more dishes!

I took the vegetarian red curry for lunch. They serve a soup before. Both dishes were very good.

Stopped by for a second try. Customer service is not the best. The food is not bad but not worth the price. The male server took my order, asked which soup I’d prefer. He mentioned one I was not familiar with so I asked what type of soup was it. He shrugged his shoulders and said “soup”. When I walked in he provided water and the menu. He sat down, and didn’t come to take my order until another customer walked it. He gave him the water and menu and then took my order and sat down again. My water glass was empty but luckily a customer had left so he was forced to get up to bus that table and took that opportunity to fill my glass with water. The table cloths are a nice touch but the service is not and the dirty walls are not easy on the eyes. It was entertaining to follow his approach towards customers. He gets up when customers walked in or when they leave but not in between. Interesting. Won’t be back.

Location and free parking were good. The people working there seemed very nice. But having been my first time there and how much I love good Thai food. I was extremely disappointed. One of my favorites is sweet and sour chicken. The sauce was very genetic and gelly. I’ve personally made better. I also tried the chicken pad Thai and you really can’t go wrong unless there’s a very light flavor. When I specifically asked for it to be saucy and the noodles were not Al dente, they were very soft and when I reheated it the noodles fell apart. The sauce should have a much stronger flavor and color. My favorite Thai restaurant in Colorado Springs is Lanna Thai And they so far have made the best chicken pad thai, sweet and sour, and I love their Tom yum going and tom yum kha soups as well as their green papaya salad. I think I will drive the extra distance and pay a little bit more to actually get something that is palatable and authentic.
Also, the bench I sat in the cushion was completely sunken in. Furniture needs to be updated. I feel really bad for the owners of this establishment and it’s sad that there were so many regulars there that obviously don’t know what good Thai food is.

There was good things and there was bad things it was half and half.

Thai tea-
Good

Appetizer:
Chicken satay-
Great appetizer! I do recommend! Sauces were good too, clear one was a little sweet. Chicken was cooked good with a good flavor as well. Recommend by server.

Main dishes:

Chicken coconut soup- can’t remember the name. Highly recommend, great soup. I got medium and it wasn’t spicy to me so I added some more spice (dry spice) great soup!

Panang curry-
one of the worst I’ve had, flavors were not there at all. Doesn’t look appetizing either. Don’t recommend. Ordered with chicken and beef, meats were alright, sauce not.

Chicken stir fry dish- can’t remember name.
Don’t recommend, flavors not good at all, bad sauce.

Overall I wish we got different dishes, I don’t think we tried the right things. Maybe we should’ve got the chef specials. The only reason I didn’t get a green or yellow curry was because the pictures did not look that great.

Service is warm, friendly, and quick. The staff work great as a team and all the food came out very hot. The calamari was fried in house, you can tell by the breading and crunch. I also enjoyed the green curry with chicken (medium spice). It was just the right amount of heat, the chicken was tender and the veggies in it were al dente. Great experience.
