The portions were generous and packed with flavor. What truly elevated the experience was the thoughtful hospitality. I was pleasantly surprised when they presented me with a bottle of champagne with my name on it, such a lovely and personal touch.
This is definitely a place I would love to visit again. Thank you for the fantastic food and wonderful experience.
I ordered the prime rib, which was perfectly cooked and served with mushrooms, potatoes, and vegetables. The only drawback was some gristle in the meat, which prevented me from enjoying the entire portion.
Overall, it is a great fine dining spot and well worth making a reservation for a quality dining experience.
On top of all that the staff shared funny stories about the past.
ALSO we left our phone at the table, it ended up going to into the laundry, but the waitresses and I quote “stranger things have happened” and we’re able to locate it.
Great day and experience.
I’ve been here for lunch before but I’ve been excited to try dinner since then. Tonight we ordered a Certified Angus Beef Wellington ($65), Braised Beef Chuck ($45), Molten Chocolate Lava Cake ($12), and Greek Baklava ($12).
To start fresh, hot bread rolls are served with a fluffy, herbed butter. As for the mains, my boyfriend’s braised beef was drizzled with a cherry au jus, served with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. This beef was so tender it fell apart with a gentle pull of your fork while the mash was delicious and buttery.
My Beef Wellington was medium rare, seared and wrapped in a puff pastry with a mushroom pate and shallots in a tarragon wine sauce. It was easily the BEST meal I’ve ever had in this city. Such high quality, fresh and delicious ingredients. The meat also extremely tender while the puff pastry was perfectly flaky. I’m also not sure what they did to the vegetables, but they tasted fantastic. I got the faint aroma of Asian flavours but also sweetness? I may never know for sure.
We had to end the night on a high note with some house made, hot desserts. Both were served with vanilla bean ice cream. Lava cake was good, but the baklava was even better. It was crispy, flaky, syrupy with light honey and nutty flavours. Exactly like a Greek would make it, which is why I’m obsessed. Then, at the end, mix it with the vanilla bean ice cream and you’re in heaven.
Staff were amazing, we were well taken care of. It’s certainly fine dining and it showed in the service and the food. There’s a lot of table side options that we witnessed nearby, even felt the heat of the flames. All of it was very entertaining.
I can’t wait to return and I can’t decide if I would order the 4 course meal (which is a steal of a deal for $65/person) or something flambéed table side. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant.
Summer 2025:
My coworkers and I went out for lunch! We figured we may as well try somewhere with a good reputation. I am happy to report that Memories Dining & Bar lives up to the hype!
The lunch menu is surprisingly affordable. You can order something on the light side or the heavier side. I got the Memories Deluxe Burger with home cut fries ($18).
Shockingly, this burger is the BEST restaurant quality burger I’ve ever had in Regina. It’s an 8 oz. CAB prime rib patty with cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions & chipotle mayonnaise. The fries, like I said, are 100% home cut. They taste exactly like the fries my dad makes at home. My only, only, extremely minor critique is that I wished they made the chipotle mayonnaise with a bit more bite. As a burger, it’s a solid, fresh tasting, great quality burger. You can taste and feel the quality in the patty, cheese, bacon and the bun.
This burger is simple, but they hit every mark. And that’s exactly what makes it so good. My coworkers were also extremely happy with their food. Not to mention, the service was also fantastic.
Memories has the basics done extremely well, which assures me they can handle everything else. I cannot wait to return, for lunch and dinner!
The ambiance was intimate and refined, and the service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive — exactly what you want for a special night out.
And then dessert arrived — the Chocolate Pâté with Crème Anglaise. Absolutely unreal. Dense, velvety chocolate paired with the smooth, delicate sweetness of the anglaise… the perfect, luxurious finish to an already unforgettable evening.
A flawless way to celebrate another year together. We’ll definitely be back.
Dine different courses with excellent flavors to celebrate a special occasion with my family.
I was really thankful to Sir Thomas for having me a gift. Also, thankful to the staffs who serves us, although i really forgot their names, my bad. I hope someone could thank them for me.
When I went I had a foot injury and was unable to bear weight on my foot the staff was very accommodating and helped in every way they could
it’s a shame the food does not match the service I ordered the shrimp pasta{cardinal}
Pasta was very undercooked the sauce was kind of bland, i will however state that I did not request a replacement for my dish i will give this restaurant another try in the future just perhaps not this dish
