Wow! Chips and salsa were perfect. Fresh warm tortilla chips and delicious salsa. I ordered a Diet Coke and the Texarcana chimichangas. Everything was delicious. Real gem of a place to eat in the middle of not much. Lots of parking but they say no 18 wheelers. There is a truck stop near by though so you could park there and walk over. I can’t get over how good the chips were. Very fresh and perfect. I ate the salsa way too fast as it was just as good. My meal came out quick and was delicious. Service was quick and my drink was refilled moments after finishing it. The chimichangas were fresh and hot, crispy from deep frying. The ones I got had chicken, steak, and shrimp. It came with rice and beans with salad on the side. Zero complaints about any of it. The beans and chimichangas were covered in a lite queso sauce that made them better. The chimichangas were fried in a pan, not in a deep fryer, so they were more grilled burrito style than chimichangas I have had in the past. Good selection of beer available. Full liquor as well.

The food was great overall. The sope was good, although it didn’t have beans. The taco meat was also good, and while I can’t say for sure, I think the tortilla was a blend of corn and flour (noticed after one bite). I never come across corn/flour blends in Mexican restaurants, so I incorrectly assumed this time. It was my fault for not confirming, but be aware in case you have a gluten sensitivity.

We were looking for a restaurant near the interstate, and Google suggested this Mexican restaurant. The place was clearly understaffed. One person was greeting guests, seating people, running the register, and cleaning tables. Because of that, it took a few minutes to be seated even though there were plenty of open tables.
The food had good flavor, but it was very dry. The staff was working hard, but the service and food quality were not what we expected. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I’m just passin thru, been staying at the Super 8 while my truck is at Complete Truck Service since Tuesday. The lady at the front desk did not hesitate in telling me, this restaurant is really good, so I decided to come see for myself. I really just mainly wanted some tall cold drafts. She was NOT wrong! This is some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The family friendly atmosphere, even the two youngn’s running around, not unruly, but just having fun. Maybe being a little later, very few customers at the time, had something to do with that, but I spend most of my days and nights in a truck. I enjoy a good welcoming family atmosphere, I especially enjoy seeing children just being children, able to enjoy themselves, so I enjoyed every minute. I didn’t catch her name, the ticket said Lulu. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. The young lady that seated me was a real sweetheart. Lulu came to take my order, I felt like we knew each other before tonight, even to the point of, she knew what I wanted before I said it lol. I will pass her recommendation along, I highly recommend the Quesabirria Tacos. Lol I knew, when I sat down and tasted the salsa, I was gonna get some good food, and I was right. Lol my only problem is, not with them, when I find good food and start throwing beers back I tend to spend. I couldn’t leave without a to go order to take back to the truck for later. I regret nothing lol. If I’m back through here with enough time, I will absolutely come back!

This is a hidden jewel right off the Interstate. The chimichangas were terrific, as were the cheese sauces! They appear to have a full bar. The entrees came out quickly. Make sure to get the queso with the chips and salsa!!

Food was great lots of flavor and love that its walking distance from a truck stop. The service could definitely be a lot better as they dont greet you at all and look at you when you walk in like the u are bothered by you, instead of at least saying we will be right with you. If they fix that they would be golden.

Great little Mexican restaurant with reasonable priced menu. Service a little slow on the Friday night we were there due to an abundance of take-out orders. Appears to be very popular with the location clientele, always a good sign. Recommend Taco Shrimp Salad – crispy taco shell with lots of good-sized shrimp, cheese, beans, lettuce.

We came about 730p the hotel was next door and we haven’t eaten since about 2pm…. we were seated quickly and Juan was very helpful answering questions about our order. Food came out shortly after and the food was top shelf , wow…the best chili replenish ever, the chili Verde again was so so good. Juan said he was glad the food was great and told us the cook was his mom..and her daughter works here as well… I don’t care that we live 5 states away….I’m definitely coming back
