I would like to start by saying that the food is absolutely delicious! The three stars are solely due to the interaction we had at the very end of our visit.

A couple of girlfriends and I made reservations for Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar after reading through several positive reviews. As locals, we were excited to try a new brunch spot. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the host, gave the name under our reservation, and were seated at the perfect table with a beautiful view.

Our server was attentive and pleasant throughout our meal. We ordered the brunch special, and everything was amazing — from the charcuterie board (chef’s kiss!) to our entrées and dessert. Truly a great dining experience.

After paying our tab, we decided to take advantage of the stunning scenery and snap a few pictures. We briefly placed our tripod on a nearby table while taking photos. A gentleman approached us and asked whether our waitress had seated us at that specific table. We explained that we had been seated nearby and had just finished dining but wanted to capture a few photos before leaving.

He informed us that we needed to remove the tripod immediately because the table was reserved for guests coming in. We completely understood and had no issue moving it — we would never want to inconvenience another guest. However, as we continued taking pictures, no one was ever seated at that table. When I politely asked whether the guests had arrived, he stated they had not and reiterated that we just needed to remove the tripod.

While we understand that tables are reserved and policies must be upheld, the delivery and demeanor felt unnecessarily snobbish and dismissive. It left a disappointing impression after what had otherwise been a wonderful brunch experience.

We were genuinely hoping to make this our new monthly brunch spot, but unfortunately, that final interaction left a distaste that overshadowed an otherwise great visit.

One of the best rooftop experiences we’ve ever had! Peter, our bartender is a stud and a ton of fun to chat with! The drinks and food were superb! The mushroom toast, honey cake and dark rye roast & gluhwein are highly recommended! thr view from every angle was great!

Had a wonderful stop at the roof top bar. We were driving FL to TN so we made a point to stop into Savannah GA for food. They accommodated our kids as well which was awesome so they got to lounge and stretch their legs and have chicken and waffles. The braised pork was wonderful. Our server was a student intern I think but she was so sweet to our kids. She gave them panda stickers at the end of our meal- so sweet!

My friends and I attended the “night of stars” NYE event and I cannot express how amazing of a time we had! The bartenders and staff were so kind, the drinks were great and the food was incredible too! The DJ played a decent range of music, all of them being perfect party songs to dance to! Everything was exactly how they described it on the reservation and I greatly appreciated them reaching out to me a few days before to remind me of the expected weather, considering it is a /roof top/ bar and the event would be outside, we dressed for the cold and it was not an issue. By the end of the night when everyone was up and dancing, most everyone had taken their jackets off bc we worked up some solid heat! M&R did a wonderful job helping us ring in the new year. Worth every penny!!!

This rooftop bar is a gorgeous space!
Reservations were needed for the seating in the garden. But, the indoor seating is equally comfortable and beautiful. The views of the river are the real winners along with the fried chicken & french toast-a must try! The services was great and reasonably paced timing. I’m looking forwarding to visiting again. This was a great experience

We only had the delicious drinks. They offer small plates, but we had already eaten. Hot chocolate with Grand Marnier, Merry and Bright cocktail infused with rosemary, and A Partridge in a Pear Tree were all delightful! Our server, Sam was very attentive. ❤️

Went here as a girls night out and had an amazing time! The drinks were amazing and so was the food. I highly recommend the pears wrapped in prosciutto or the potatoes (if you want a vegetarian option) both were AMAZING! Since it does get chilly on the river front they even had blankets if you asked for one. Definitely will be coming back!

Went to enjoy the rooftop bar and views with my bachelorette party and had an amazing time! Drinks were very good with selections from the restaurant as well as a full bar. Entertainment also made a visit to the table to help celebrate and performed some hand eye magic that was very fun to watch. With being right on the river it wasn’t too loud or crowded which made the atmosphere very pleasant! Would definitely go back!
