A Deli Italian Food

I came in ad hoc as I needed to do some things in the area on a weekday morning. It’s a small deli with very limited seating. The employee/owner was friendly. The portioning was great in the sub but I felt that it didn’t have as much flavor as it should, maybe more oil/seasoning would’ve made it better. I paid almost $20 for a 12” spicy Italian with a bag of chips which I also thought was pretty expensive. Overall I’d come back to try their other stuff but probably won’t go for their subs again.

Was happy to get a sandwich for dinner close by when I was craving it! Meat was good and a good amount for the price, bread was soft on the Crazy Italian 8”

Ordered sandwiches to go. Quick (took less than 10 mins for two custom hot sandwiches)

Wife is a foody who never orders meals “as is” and always makes changes. She made no changes to either of these sandwiches and we were better for them.

Exceptional quality good, perfectly balanced between bread and meat/fillings, a rare treat to see made so right.

We got the Italiano and Pesto Caprese.

Ordered lunch for the first time via DoorDash. Delivery was prompt. However, disappointed with the food. My Caprese sandwich was on white bread, not ciabatta (pictured), and had no basil. My husband’s cold cut sandwich didn’t have a lot of meat and cheese so the main flavors were bread and dressing. The meatball appetizer was unfortunately bland. Wish it was a better experience, maybe it’s due to Covid?

The place has definitely been improved, the staff is more accessible and the cleanliness and order are noticeable… And most importantly, the food tastes quite good, especially the Pesto Pizza, which although it isn’t on the menu, you can order it.

My buddy and I stopped by for a quick bite and ordered chicken wings, but we ended up waiting over 35 minutes for our food. On top of that, we waited an additional 5 minutes for the worker to find some ranch dressing. When the wings finally arrived, they were much spicier than we had expected, even though we specifically asked for BBQ sauce. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re hungry and in a hurry.

We have been looking forward to giving A Deli a try as it’s just a short drive from home. Ordered online and the turnaround was on the longer range on the order timeframe provided. Ordered two sandwiches and two desserts for just under $40. Flavor on the sandwiches was good but the bread is really not authentic to an Italian deli, too soft and for our meatball sub was really soaked through. Flavor on the prosciutto and mozzarella with tomato was good but a GREAT bread would really level it up. The cannoli was mediocre at best and the tiramisu was completely frozen. Hard pass on the desserts. Would I order again? Maybe if I was in a pinch or to give the pizza a try, but not likely. My dad’s candid review: “I’d eat it on a plane if there weren’t any other options.”

Very confused by the storefront. It says “a deli” outside but when you go inside it’s actually a Halal place? We ended up ordering off the posted halal menu before seeing a paper flyer “a deli” menu in the corner. I still don’t know what’s going on. Apparently multiple places share the same space?

The Pastrami sandwich were SMACK. I have never had a pastrami sandwich from anywhere else that was this good. Customer service was fantastic. Quick and easy! Loved the atmosphere of the place. I’m not from the area and would definitely come back!

Excellence food and Management. I ordered take out about 6 times at this place already. The pizza and sub are taste and reasonable price (have not try other like pasta, wings,… check their menu). On one occasion, the onion ring was slightly over cooked. I provided my feedback based on the contact on the receipt. Guess what, the management contacted me immediately and offered to replace, delivery. However since we finished our dinner so we declined. But they insisted I will get a replacement on our next order. I did yesterday, and voila it’s free. The picture here is the perfectly cooked onion ring, hot and crunchy Unlike other places, the onion ring mostly greasy and jelly like
