My husband and I went there on Friday after rush hour (around 8 pm) and we were seated right away. We tried their daily recommendations in different presentations. First we tried the blue fin in their tuna cocktail and it was very fresh, the tuna completely melted in your mouth, definitely the best way to start our dinner. We also tried their other daily recommendation in a nigiri, the fish to rice ratio was perfect, once again, the fish was very fresh with a buttery feeling. We ordered 4 rolls: the mt trashmore, the volcano roll, the spicy ocean roll, and our favorite the pain in the neck roll.
We definitely recommend you try the last roll, all of them were delicious but the mixture of textured and flavored of the last one left us wanting to come back.
Our waitress was very attentive and open to give us recommendations, she was very friendly and even went the extra mile when we asked her about the story behind the name of the sushi roll. We were grateful to have the chef come and talk to us about the name of the “pain in the neck” sushi roll, definitely a very welcoming restaurant. We’ll definitely be coming back.
We payed $130 for everything, including 4 beers and a green tea.

Tempura was decent. Dol sot bi bimbap was good! Not as seasoned as I would have liked, but thats just my korean palate. Maybe I was just needing kimchee. Quality of the fish was decent, but the sushi rice can use a bit of work.

We called to make reservations on a Friday night, but were told we would have to wait until after 8 pm to get a table. This restaurant turned out to be well worth the wait! The hostess made sure our table fit our needs (my son is in a powered wheelchair). Our server, Vincent, was knowledgeable about the menu and refilled our drinks to our satisfaction. We tried at least 1 item from each section of the menu and everything was nicely presented and was delicious. Kevin Chang, owner and head chef, was down-to-earth, yet appropriately proud of the dishes that come out of his kitchen. Highly recommend Zushi for Japanese and/or Korean cuisine.

Great ambience, sat at the sushi bar and received great service, chef checked on us asking how everything is tasting and it was delicious. Fresh sushi! We really enjoyed the light conversation with the chef(s) it feels personal! Highly recommend and would love to come here again.

A fairly good sushi place. I dropped in for a quick bite. Had the salad with ginger dressing. Ordered the chu Toro and a Philly roll. I felt the service was ok, say at the sushi bar and would have enjoyed a bit more interactive with staff. A bit more personal attention and chatting would have been fun. Location is clean and well designed, felt something was missing could not put a finger on it. I would return if in the area, just in town for a day trip.

Fresh ingredients, a perfect balance of flavors from the tenderness of the fish to the spicy kick of the sauce and beautiful presentation. An excellent choice for dinner.

Service was good . Was impressed at the amount of staff that was available to take care of the customers. It was our first time here. We were un aware you needed a reservation. However they were able to seat us after a 15 min wait. We had sashimi and a roll. The fish was fresh and had a wonderful texture and flavor.

Zushi continues to be one of the best sushi restaurants in HR. The team is excellent from entry, seating, service, food execution and the warm exit. While I waited for my table, I enjoyed the Pineapple Upside Down cocktail. For starters, the Gyoza – chicken and pork pan-fried dumplings of wheat flower, garlic and cabbage served with ponzu, also the Tempura Veggies!!

Really enjoyed the Dancing Eel Roll
3 smoked eel, with avocado on top of California roll & eel sauce. 2) The Spicy Ocean Roll – Scottish salmon sashimi over spicy tuna and crab roll, topped with eel sauce and spicy mayo!! And lastly an awesome classic Volcano Roll with perfect salmon, crab, avocado, cream cheese and asparagus (which I took out ), tempura battered served with baby greens, spicy mayo and kochujan sauce!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Top sushi experience. 5 stars across the board. Food appeared and tasted delicious! I had the Daku mari roll, octopus roll, and Christmastree roll (recommended by the host). This place is top tier quality sushi. The service was fantastic. The host was very courteous over the phone and accommodating as soon as i walked through the door. The server we had was exceptionally kind, proactive and imformative. The chef came over toward the end of our meal and was very personable. Food was really something to write home about. Enjoyed the diversity amongst patrons and phenomenal level of service. Very impressed.

Felt like some sashimi after a long day of work and happen to see it close by my hotel, so I stopped by and ordered the sashimi meal to go. Sashimi was very good but was a bit disappointed with the miso soup. It looked like it was a mini size portion. Still, good tasting.
