I randomly stopped by Dat Ky and tried “hu tieu nam vang” and “cha gio.” I was surprised about the flavor because it’s really similar to when I tried it in Vietnam. It made me feel like I lived in VN. Definitely I will come back to this restaurant, and I extremely recommend it to everyone if you want to try the authentic Vietnamese restaurant.

One of the best Hu Tieu Nam Vang we have ever had! The portion was very generous for $15 Regular Size & $16 Large Size. The broth version doesn’t come with pork rinds (top mo) so I had to order $2 pork rinds. The dry version comes with $0.75 extra charge for all sizes and will have pork rinds.
Clear noodles also come with additional charges. Other than that, the service was fast and food was really good with a variety of toppings. We will definitely come back if we get a chance in the area again!

First time here. Many Vietnamese options in the area but have been wanting to try this place. Ate here for lunch on a Sunday. Fairly busy. They only had 2 workers serving and the cashier which may have been the owner who helped with cleaning tables, receiving payments, and other things on the floor. Service was slower than expected since there were only 2 people that worked serving both inside and outside sitting areas, however they were very nice and we could tell they both were working hard going from table to table. If they had one more server that may have helped. Food portions looked good. Presentations were pleasing to the eye. I had the typical bbq pork with egg roll over dry vermicelli noodles. This is my go to for testing among Vietnamese cuisine. My husband decided to go with the spicey beef noodle soup. The egg rolls were nice and crunchy but lacked flavor unless you add fish sauce to it. The bbq pork was very lean and dry and had to drown it with fish sauce. However I enjoyed the peanut and crunchy toppings that came with it. As for the beef stew soup, the meat was also very lean and were cut in big pieces and not as soft as we would have liked it. Would prefer Smaller bite size and cooking it longer for tenderness would have been better. Prices were about $3-$4 more per entree compared to our favorite place Viet Ha not too far away. However atmosphere is nicer here. Food here was good, but nothing to rave about. Sure there may have been other items on the menu that perhaps were better choices, but this review is based on my go to bbq pork with eggroll vermicelli bowl. You can still go and try for yourself.

I had the Hu tieu Nam vang at Đạt Ký Vietnamese Restaurant, and it was just okay. The dish lacked the depth of flavors I was hoping for.
The broth was decent, but it didn’t have that authentic taste that I’ve had at other Vietnamese restaurants.
The noodles were average, and the toppings didn’t add much to the overall dish.
The service was satisfactory, and the atmosphere was ordinary. Overall, it was a mediocre experience, and I expected more from this popular Vietnamese dish.

I chose Phnom Penh soup with clear noodle and my husband get egg noodle. We also ordered spring rolls with pork and shrimp.
I was impressed by the soup, it was exactly original I eat frequently in Vietnam. The plus score here is vegetable using in noodle was boiled that I rarely find in most of Vietnamese restaurant in US (if you not request)
The restaurant also prepared a lot of type of spices you can add on your noodles: red vinegar, chili sauce, sriracha, sauce for Pho, pepper, and especially jalapeno pepper.
Highly recommend for the signature dishes of this restaurant. We really enjoyed our breakfast.

Mixed reviews with the food absolutely delicious and very adventive In favors. However, the service is very slow and unpleasant. The restaurant is warm , lacks ac or fresh air. However, I will definitely try again just for the foods.

Not sure why this place is rated lower than I expected. I thought that they had pretty good hu tieu nam vang for about $15 a bowl. My parents who are avid fans of this dish both enjoyed it. Didn’t try the other dishes because we were coming here for the hu tieu, and usually the hu tieu at pho places fall short of expectations.
Tried both the dry and wet versions. The seafood version does not have innards like liver and pork heart. The amount of meat for the small bowl was a lot and the portion is generous. The fried pork rinds was included in the dry version (additional 75 cents) but not in the wet version.
Anyway, I thought the broth tasted pretty good as well. Shrimp was abit small but the restaurant is also renovated, modern, and service is quick. We will come back next time we’re craving hu tieu.
