Noku is a phenomenal restaurant! The dishes are well crafted and elegant. My favorite small dish is definitely the Beef Dumplings. I wish I ordered a second plate of them. For the main course, we really enjoyed the Sea Bass. The sea bass was cooked brilliantly, with a good crisp towards the skin and had a refreshing slaw salad underneath. I definitely recommend and will definitely be returning with my wife and next time some friends too. Kendahl was a wonderful server and made the experience for us that much more enjoyable.

This place was exceptional! My husband and I came here for our first wedding anniversary visiting in town just for the weekend and the food that we ordered was probably some of the best food I’ve ever had. Claire and Cari provided exceptional service as well And made our anniversary night so special! I left with a happy heart and a full belly. I did leave a comment card at the table, and a representative of the restaurant even contacted me By phone to thank me for my kind words this is what I’m talking about when you talk about service!

Some hits and some misses. The chef lacks a concept and failed to make any item special.

The wood fire menu is the smallest portion of the entire menu. And there are not a lot of proteins. Basically one huge steak or a daily catch.

The dessert isn’t even made in house , they literally buy a cookie from next door and add ice cream.

The weirdest thing was the “Sando” it was literally a cheese toasty with one tiny thin slice of prosciutto in it. It’s something you would get on a cruise ship or an airport lounge. Made absolutely no sense to be on this menu.

Beef dumplings, were extremely mediocre.

We ordered 8 things on the menu and the only stand out dish was the fire cooked edamame. If the edamame was the best thing we ate that night, then the restaurant needs some serious work.

SO good! Came here on a snow day because we figured we’d actually be able to get a reservation and we did. Everything was amazing. What I liked least was the brookie, it was too chocolatey for me. I’m not sure you could go wrong with anything though. I loved everything else I ordered!

Noko is such a gem for Pan-Asian food lovers. The dishes were so rich, flavorful, and meant to be shared family style, which made the whole experience feel cozy and warm. Our waitress was fantastic too, handling a few dietary restrictions with ease and making sure everything still tasted amazing. Would recommend nearly everything we ordered but especially great were the shrimp, and lettuce burnt ends.

This was the last night of my Nashville trip and hands down my favorite meal of the entire three-day visit. The waitstaff was incredible, and the menu was just as impressive. Every bite somehow managed to be better than the one before it—it made me want to keep exploring the menu all night.

I went for some lighter bites since I’d been eating steak all weekend, but I’m already wishing I could go back and try the tomahawk next time. The lobster bao bun was the standout of the evening—absolutely incredible—but the wontons, burnt-end lettuce wraps, and tuna crispy rice were all fantastic, too. And I’ve got to mention, the old-fashioned was perfectly done.

If you’re visiting Nashville, Noko should absolutely be on your list. I’d go back in a heartbeat. Five stars all around.

The atmosphere + the staff, AMAZING! Our server was Mitch and he was great. It was our first date night bringing the baby & while we were nervous about how the baby would do, Mitch + other servers were so attentive and friendly.

The parking was limited but we did get lucky for a 5:30 reservation.

Now the food.. the star of everyone’s show, just not ours. We ordered: edamame (on the house for our 1st time), lobster bao buns, tuna crispy rice, beef dumplings, crab fried rice, Korean fried chicken, ube ice cream (on the house), & the cheesecake.

* I will add everything was reasonably priced!

10/10: both desserts + the bao buns. Everything else in our opinion lacked so much “umph” aka flavor. We were waiting to be “wow’d” and it just didn’t happen until we ate the desserts. I even sent the crab fried rice back because it tasted like .. nothing. I wish it would’ve came with a sauce of some kind.

I was actually really disappointed because it took awhile to get a reservation due to the demand and overwhelmingly positive feedback!

All in all, I’d still recommend you go & try it for yourself. Maybe it just wasn’t for us & that’s okay!

My husband and I dined here while visiting Nashville after reading all of the excellent reviews and it did not disappoint! Cute, intimate dining space and excellent service made for a delightful evening.

As for the food, we shared the salmon carpaccio, hamachi crudo, blue fin tuna crudo, tuna crispy rice, lobster bao buns and the burnt end lettuce wraps. Everything we chose was light and shareable. The only thing that missed the mark was the toughness of the burnt ends in the lettuce wraps. They still had excellent flavor but I expected a little more tenderness.

We also celebrated my husband’s birthday and they surprised us with a yummy pineapple whipped treat/soft serve. Noko also called us that next day to thank us for dining and once again send birthday wishes which was a really nice touch.

I definitely recommended – make sure to have reservations!

There’s a reason why this place is busy. Actually, there are several reasons why this place is busy. The atmosphere is balanced to suit any size of group and all reasons to break bread together. The drinks are exceptional and their liquor cabinet has the usuals plus many of the unique choices eccentrics like me always hope restaurants have on hand.
The stratified menu has small portions, mids, and hearty options. *They truly have something for everyone. Our server, Kore, arrived with a smile that started with her eyes. Wifey and I really enjoy being taken care of by people who exude a seemingly effortless A-game.
We bounced all over the menu and took Kore’s advice on some items. We noticed how she orchestrated the perfect arrival of our selections.

I’m adding a few pictures that fall short of how sumptuous and tasty e.v.e.r.y. selection tasted. I forgot to snap a pic of the brisket. Trust me. It was fantastic.

We arrived about an hour early. And that didn’t even matter to them. They had a special place for us to sit with its own private table where we were able to get drinks and have an appetizer and wait for our slated time for dinner. Simply wonderful.

Our entire shotgun blast of unrelated choices and drinks was under $130 and we were there for almost two hours. Wowzah. It sure didn’t feel like it.
I want to extend my personal thanks to Core and everyone for giving us such a great evening.

It’s been a while since I do a review but this restaurant deserves a review and more! We absolutely loved it. Everything was delicious, amazing costumer service, and great indoor and outdoor atmosphere!
We went to the restaurant for fried rice and poke bowl. Yesterday, they ran out of the tuna for the poke bowl but offer to make it with Salmon! As we waited for our poke bowl we were surprised with Tuna Crispy Rice! And we were so happy they gave that to us because it was the best dish there! Extremely delicious! We then got the fries, fried rice, and poke bowl we had ordered, and they were also amazing!! We told the server that we had originally went there for the Dole Whip but we were so full that we were going to skip it! they still surprised us with the dole whip at the end! And it was also very worth it!

We noticed on the website they have the restaurant core values and how the staff it’s treated and that made us happy! This is the first restaurant where I see those core values being fully integrated into their service! We have been to many restaurants and we left 100% knowing this is now #1 on our list!
Thank you for the great time and food! Hope Noko continues to get even better with time
