I went into the facility on 2/25/26 and ordered the two for $6 fish sandwich special. I got my sandwiches, and I left. I began to eat one of the sandwiches in my car on the way to a meeting. About halfway through that first sandwich, I found a medium length red hair. It was in my mouth by that point, and I spat it out as soon as I felt it. I don’t have red hair. I was alone in my car. It was chewed up in the sandwich. I threw the rest of that sandwich away and the second sandwich I purchased. I wasn’t going to take a chance.
I returned to this restaurant 3/4/26 because it is close to my house, and I wanted to give another chance. I again went into the restaurant. I waited more than five minutes for someone to wait on me at the counter. The larger of two guys working in the food area said to the smaller one, Chase, “You have someone at the counter.” Chase just shook his head and continued to mess with the food and yell at the cook. Finally, Chase came out and took my order. I got it rather quickly. But as I was waiting, I noticed that the area where the cooking was going on was a total disaster. There was food, boxes for something, and napkins all over the floor. Chase bent down and picked up a pile of napkins and threw them in a trash can, but the rest of the mess continued to lay all over the floor. The service and atmosphere were terrible, but the sandwich did not have hair in it this time, which I guess was an improvement.

The past few times I have been to this location have been extremely disappointing. Today I placed a mobile order and pulled up to the drive thru. I was told there was a wait to place orders because their computers were under maintenance. No big deal. I asked if that affected mobile orders as well, just in case I would be able to get my food without waiting the ten minutes I was quoted. Someone in the background said “didn’t you just tell her we can’t use our computer” and started yelling at the boy taking my order. I found this to be completely uncalled for and rude. I would have waited for my food, but after that response I just cancelled my order. The last time I was here, I waited a ridiculously long amount of time. I assumed they were busy so I was not agitated until I pulled up to have my payment taking and the teenagers were just yapping with each other and messing around. The time before that, I got the wrong sandwich and waited patiently in line at the register to receive help, but was ignored for about five minutes. I am done with this location. If the employees were kinder and more attentive, I would not feel this way about these mistakes/issues.

I ordered a pick up my food was fresh and made to order very happy staff did a great job today!! Manager was very nice and polite as well as the staff! It’s not easy what they do everyday!! Thank you for making my day bc it’s been a long week

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I placed an order for table service, but my food was never brought to me. I watched as several other parties who ordered after me received their food at their tables without issue. I eventually had to go get it myself. The lack of service felt targeted and unfair, and I left feeling unwelcome. I won’t be returning to this location.

Consistently mess up my order. Wait time is very long. Today my bagel sandwich had 1 piece of bacon on it and my orange juice taste like water. My last visit I got home and had another persons order.

For all those who write negative reviews about this place, try getting food from the Plank Road location sometime.. this location, in my experience, is probably the best location you can get McDonald’s in a 5-mile radius. Sometimes the food won’t look picture perfect. It’s McDonald’s, not a gourmet restaurant. But I have had no problems with this location. The order is always right, the food tastes decent, and despite me ordering delivery from this location, I’ve heard many good things about this location, such as friendly customer service compared to the Plank Road and Downtown Altoona locations, cleanliness is on point, as well as many other things. So yeah, if you want McDonald’s without having to worry about all the chaos from the other 2 locations, come to this location for a pleasant experience 🙂

This place is a great place to get a fast breakfast, lunch or something to grab for dinner. If your out and about you should just swing by their drive-thru and grab a bite or perhaps dine-in. Choice is yours but either way this place has improved. I got here quite often. I enjoy the food, fast and friendly service.

Was here two weeks ago waited eight minutes in drive through for guy manager to hand me wrong order n lady accuse me of throwing garbage behind building when I walked my daughter’s diaper to trash receptacle! Will never be back here! Watched heavy set girl scratch face n other places then scoop fries no gloves this fries touch hands!! Moving higher up report

From now on we sticking with Wendy’s they don’t soak burgers in grease it goes grill to bun!
