ordered a chilli, portion was small, it was abit watery and taste was light, i guess is abit too much water. Price is quite expensive for a small bowl. The sub is better than the soup.

My friends and I stopped by for some dinner after a saturday badminton session.
We tried a bunch of large subs: firehouse captain club sub, smokehouse beef & cheddar brisket, brisket hat trick.
I was blown away by the quality of the subs. WOW.
Every sub was PACKED to the brim w/ goodies. No skimping out on ingredients. Tons of meat, tons of veggies, tons of sauce. For the hot subs, the meat was sooooo soft and easy to swallow. I had a bite of my friends’ subs and they were all super delicious. The chicken in the captains club was so juicy. The beef in the smokehouse sub was melt in the mouth. The bread on all subs was toasted.
They also have one of those nice machines w/ tons of different soda options to choose from (peach mello yellow zero SUPER UNDERRATED).
Shoutout to Donte who helped me with my order as a first-timer to this store! Love that I was able to stack a bunch of extra add-ons for no additional charge. Also loved that every sub came w/ a dill pickle on the side (the pickles were delicious too). I was tempted to upgrade my bun to garlic bread but that’ll be for another visit.
In terms of price, it is premiumly priced at around $20-25 per sub which is expensive tbh. Does the quality justify that price tag? I would actually have to say yea it does! SOOOOO much meat packed into every sub. AND the employees don’t treat you like dirt (*cough cough* Jersey Mike’s, Subway and Mr. Sub I’m looking at you guys).
Sooo jelly that there isn’t a location closer to me at all but I signed up for the rewards program right away. MY GOD. Best subs I’ve had in recent memory.

I’ve ordered from this location many times in the past and never had an issue, which makes this experience disappointing. My subs weren’t made correctly and the order instructions weren’t followed. When I called the store, I was told to come back another time and they would provide four free meals to make up for the mistake. But when I went in, they refused to honour what was promised and said it was only four meal upgrades instead.
The staff member at the counter was quite dismissive, which made the situation even more frustrating. Another employee did try to be kind and helpful, and I appreciated that, but overall the visit fell far short of the service I’ve consistently received here in the past.

I’d rate it even higher if the bread held up a bit better. Lightly toasting it would help prevent it from getting soft too quickly, and offering a few more bread choices could take things up another level.
The dining area was well maintained, the tables were wiped down and the washroom was tidy, which always makes a difference.
Overall, it’s a reliable spot whether you’re grabbing a quick takeout meal or sitting down to eat.

Great subs, plenty options of hot sauces, good amount of meat fillings. The subs are definitely better and good ratio of actual meat vs. filler veggies. One star off because the actual bread could be better if toasted so it doesn’t get soggy quickly and more options.
Bathroom was clean and tables were clean. Good for quick takeout or dine-in.

I ordered the new smoked turkey Italian sub and the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sub, both in large. The smoked turkey Italian sub was packed with ingredients. I only ate half of that sub and I was super full. The taste was really good for that sub. The smokehouse beef and cheddar sub was a bit lacking. The sub could of had a bit more brisket but the flavor was good. Both subs came with a pickle on the side which was nice. Firehouse subs is hands down the best sub franchise if you want to get a sub. Price is a few dollars more than other sub places but you get double the ingredients here.

I went there during lunch the other day cause my coworker recommended it, I’m not really a sub fan cause whenever I eat subs I eat at Subway so my expectations were low but these guys really changed my view on subs. I ordered the “Hook and Ladder” and a large drink, I also got barbeque sauce on the side, the sub was made pretty fast so I didn’t wait long and they have a huge variety of drinks available in their soft drink machine. The sub was delicious better than subway, Mr sub, or any other sub store though it’s a bit pricey compared to other lunch alternatives it’s definitely worth the extra few bucks.

I’ve eaten at a few Firehouse locations and this one was good just like the rest.
I get the large and it’s a gigantic sandwich. Regular is a decent size too and comes in right at 10$
I like the hot sauce rack, most of their sandwiches go well with a hot kick.
I’ve had about 7 different subs so far and the stand outs for me have to be the Italian, hook and ladder and New York Steamer, Pastrami Reuben was really good and the Smokehouse Brisket + Cheddar omg!!

Facing Markham road, amongst other restaurants, this sub fast food chain makes a decent sandwich.
Medium New York Steamer $11.94 ($13.50) after taxes.
It’s bread is nice and soft, the sauces are good and not overly soggy. The meats aren’t bad either.
Though I would’ve liked more meat, it’s not bad and well worth the price.
Glad they make their pricing with proper coinage after taxes.
Free parking in the plaza.

Uber eats completely messed up my order the other night. They delivered someone else’s order to my home. I had to place a new order, but out of curiosity I called the store to see if they received my order (old and new). The gentlemen on the line confirmed he did get it. He was apologetic even though it was not their fault it didn’t get picked up. He made a fresh order and had it delivered to my home. He was in constant communication, letting me know when it was out for delivery. Truly the meaning of going above and beyond.
