I really have enjoyed the food at their other location. This is my first time here at JD’s on the lake. Food was good so is because we were outside. Was okay but not attentive. Atmosphere is nice sitting on the lake. And today they had a free concert with Macy Willis and her band gone country.

Everything was good except the poke bowl. Pretty presentation but not flavorful. The drinks and food are overpriced, but with the atmosphere it makes up for it. Had a band on Saturday night and the area is on the sand so I wouldn’t wear heels to this place. The age group seemed to be late 30’s to 50’s. The waitresses all seemed to be in their early 20’s. Overall great experience and location.

Went there to try the burgers and didn’t disappoint. Fresh buns and big great fries. Had the bacon cheeseburgers. The service was great and fast and friendly. If you liked the Ozark show, it is nice to check out.

We went here for lunch today. I got the catfish platter for lunch. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They were very cheerful and helpful. This is a cool little gem on the lake. You will not be disappointed by the food or service here. We have found another new spot that will be a frequent regular spot.

Spent a Saturday with some friends on the lake and came here for dinner. A buddy of mine had the Catfish and wasn’t too impressed as it was quite dry but the rest of the food was delicious; fantastic shrimp! Service was impeccable & we throughly enjoyed the entertainment. Looking forward to coming back!

Great local eatery on the Lake. Yes, this is the place where Ozarks was filmed. Restaurant was quite busy and filled up fast. Service was excellent. I ordered the smoked wings. Also, got JD’s Kentucky Mule. Prices are on point, and it is a great place for a good lunch.
Highly recommend. Shelby was our Server. She was awesome. Very nice, informative and quick.
I highly recommend this joint if in the area and looking for some good lunch fare with a great relaxing Lake view.

We went on a Thursday for Bike Night. I loved the laid-back vibe of the patio/deck area. They had live music that night, and it was just chill hanging by the lake listening to the band. We will definitely go back.

The best part of the restaurant is the setting on the lake. We sat on the upstairs deck which is not screened in. The downstairs deck apparently is. It makes a difference when you have a bee harassing you the whole time. I found the metal seating uncomfortable, along with the mesh metal table when you lean on it. Other seating options upstairs are metal stools at the high tops which look really uncomfortable. The food was ridiculously expensive. $18.11 for a turkey club and $15.01 for a classic pork sandwich. They were small and kinda tasteless. Fries were like Orida fries, and buns were cheap and portions small. Hopefully the barbeque is better at the other location, and maybe you’re better off with fish here. Service could have been faster, but the server was nice and polite.

A bit of a hidden gem. The wife and I visited for lunch on a Sunday. No wait, we end up sitting out on the back deck with a view of the lake. The food was delicious. The Salmon bowl was well put together. My wife had the bacon burger with all the toppings and it came out great. The only thing I didn’t like was there’s an upcharge for swapping home made chips (thinly sliced potatoes) for crinkle fries (still potatoes) service was very prompt and drinks were good. Overall experience was great.
