Experiment failed !!!! Dinner ruined. $55 wasted. 4.9 stars reviews made me write this – I almost never write reviews.
We submitted our order online and took it to go. That much went smoothly, though we did have to wait a little bit in the restaurant for our order to be finished. My problem is just that I really didn’t like the sushi. First and foremost is the rice itself; I think it’s whatever vinegar they use to make it. It just made everything completely unpalatable to me. The fish ingredients were “okay,” not great, not awful, but the rice just ruined it for me.
Volcano roll, which is a specialty roll. So today, I get it and I’ve ordered this same roll 20 times. And this is what I received. The cucumber was not existent. And anyone who eats sushi knows a roll that’s filled with all rice isn’t good sushi. So when I called they insisted it’s the same thing. When I I’m telling them it isn’t. I’m not paying 16$ a roll to get a roll that’s made like their 7$ rolls. Never have I ever had 2 rolls and then still be hungry. You tell me what you guys think. Roll has spicy shrimp and cucumber inside. Tell me if you see that cucumber. And on top is suppose to be crab, yellow tail, salmon and spicy mayo. No spicy mayo and no cucumber. I’d avoid if you like sushi.
Some minor pros and cons:
It was a bit more expensive than what I expected since it’s around $23 for the all you can eat option, which is a great deal and with tax it should be around ~$26, though with the extra service charges it was $32 in total which was a bit over my usual budget but I am not complaining because the place looked very nice and the food was great! Would totally recommend
First of all, we got there before 8:30 pm (they close at 9:30) and the lady that attended us made us feel not wanted. Didn’t offer all you can eat, when that’s what they advertise all over the place. When we asked about it, the lady said they can only offer us all you can eat if both, my gf and I, do it. Mind you, we have eaten here before and that absurd rule was never mentioned nor applied previously. The lady just didn’t want to do her Job. We decided to stay, and we both ordered all you can eat. But the service was horrible. The lady’s besides manner was nonexistent, and again, made us feel not wanted. When we wanted to order another item from the menu, the same lady acted annoyed. We left the place within 30 minutes and didn’t even finish our meal due to the bad service. Left no tip, and she acted surprised. Tips are earned, not required, and the lady barely did her job. Do yourself a favor and choose another sushi place that wants to attend their customers how they’re supposed to.
