I was greeted immediately by the owner and workers with a smile on their face ready to serve and answer my questions about sourdough. Vanessa checked me out and was sweet. The food is really fresh and has good food flavors. I bought a ham and Swiss croissant and sourdough, and three croissants. All light and fluffy. Savory and sweet. I’ll be back. Didn’t know about this place! Was in search of my favorite pastry….. “Kouign-Amann”……if you haven’t had it…it’s a must try. Walked in….loved the vibe! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Oh and the sandwich I had was delicious and so filling. Definitely will be coming back.

We went to try the English breakfast. It was average but not the worst. We loved the atmosphere as the owner was so kind and welcoming. Truly a very interesting place but unfortunately we also went on a day when there was a long wait for everything. We will try it again as we really liked the atmosphere and felt this was not the norm.

Everything we tried was outstanding—almond, regular, and chocolate croissants; “common bread”; bread pudding; orange cranberry scone; and an espresso. Each pastry was incredibly flaky, buttery, and fresh. The atmosphere is elegant and thoughtfully designed—plush napkins, cute silver plastic ware, and a high-end feel throughout. It is on the pricier side, but the quality of both the food and experience fully justifies it. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

I I have been wanting to try this place for a while because I saw the Houston Chronicle’s TikTok showing the BakeHouse’s pastries. The food is very high quality and big portions which equal the price. About 6 dollars per pastry. I got the almond croissant, dark chocolate sea salt cookie, and a chocolate pecan bread pudding. Might be the best cookie I’ve ever had, almond croissant was good, but the bread pudding was disappointing. It was very dense and not really fluffy like a bread pudding, more like a dump cake texture. The flavor was good just dense. I also got the chicken salad croissant which was truly unique and amazing. Overall I loved the items I got and the service was very nice. I am excited to return to try more!

The food is pretty delicious and the salted dark chocolate chip cookie is the best cookie I have ever had. It’s a nice relaxing place to eat. I do wish they had a better coffee/espresso menu and the staff is not always that friendly. Despite those things I still enjoy going.

Today was our first time trying this gem out. We were greeted with such kindness. The atmosphere was wonderful. So much diversity throughout this establishment. The staff was very detail oriented and helpful in explaining all of their products. I was impressed with the array of choices they have for those who are gluten free & keto. Everything is so fresh and made with quality products. My mom who has cancer typically has a hard time tasting anything due to her treatments. She was able to taste the goodness in their baked goods! We definitely recommend this place.

Finally! This type location is exactly what I seek out when I travel out of town and we finally have it right her in Friendswood, I’m thrilled! The food and service is excellent. I had the privilege to have a conversation with one of the owners and I’m super excited for their future here! I definitely will be back and if you haven’t gotten here to try it.. Do it!!!
