Wow. The food was great. The scallops and bacon was the best dish! Seafood chowder was phenomenal. Fish and chips were great. Calamari wasn’t too chewy. They nailed it all. Highly recommend going here!

We visited The Naked Oyster Seafood and Grill at the end of November as a last-minute group of 25, and the service was fantastic! The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the daily special — lobster dip — was absolutely perfect. Loved this little spot for its charm and quaint atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d return to!

We enjoyed lunch here today. The service was genuine and friendly. The food was delicious! Specifically the chowder – chock a block full of seafood and perfectly tender potatoes and veg. The broth was tasty. We also enjoyed the brussel sprout caesar salad plus the scallops with maple bacon.

We dined at the Naked Oyster on a busy summer evening. This is an excellent seafood option if you are in the area. We had the Captain’s Pot and the innovative scallops with beef stroganoff. Both were delicious. But what really impressed on this night was the service. The staff worked as a finely honed team. Our server was clearly inundated but we were never lacking for attention with the hostess checking on us three times and the other server covering for food delivery. When our server managed to catch up she was gracious and attentive. We will definitely be back.

This was by far one of the most delicious seafood chowders I have ever eaten! The restaurant was very busy, but my server didn’t come back at all to check on me. In fact, I had to go inside to offer to pay my bill. That is my only complaint. I would go back for the chowder again and again….highly recommend.

My bf and I were taking a trip to Lunenburg and stopped to check out Mahone Bay. Did the touristy thing first and stoped at Spill the Tea (lovely spot!) where the charming owners suggested to eat here when we were actually looking for a great fish and chips place in Lunenburg. Amy’s husband at Spill the Tea, suggested The Naked Oyster over a few spots we thought of trying.
Well this place did not disappoint! The fish had a batter that was not very greasy and the portions were huge! Now I love my tartar sauce and this was the best home made tartar sauce I’ve ever tasted!
After seeing pics of the other items I will definitely come back to try something else! The staff is very sweet too!
