This place has been a favorite for years! I live in Tampa but Everytime I visit family here I make sure to hit this place a few times. The roast beef sandwiches are to die for. Prices are good and the portions are awesome. Will be back each time in in the area

I was back in the area after a lengthy absence so I decided to stop in to my old favorite Roast Beef spot.
I was worried that after a few years maybe it wouldn’t be as good as I remembered but boy howdy was I wrong.
The beef is rare and tender, the onion roll was crispy and toasted but held up well to the sauce, and speaking of the sauce, they of course use the James River BBQ Sauce that any respectable beef spot uses.
They opened a Kelly’s right down the street, and I know it’s tempting, but for my money, I’d strongly encourage anyone in the area to drive the extra 4 minutes down the road and stop in at the Blue House. It’s my favorite beef spot in the world, and trust me, I’m a beefy boy.
Outstanding people here too!! They actually care about the food and making sure people are eating well when they stop in.
I could go on forever but you wouldn’t read it because you should be RUNNING TO THE BLUE HOUSE FOR A BEEF RIGHT NOW!

I’ve been here twice and both times I got the roast beef. This place is slept on! 10/10 roast beef that can compete with the best of them. Andrew makes a mean beef. Perfectly cooked tastes fantastic the three way was exactly how I like it. Not too much mayo and a healthy amount of sauce. If you like beefs you need to check this out!

Stopped into Blue House Pizza in Salem, NH and grabbed a junior roast beef sandwich—absolutely hit the spot. The beef was super fresh, piled high, and perfectly juicy. Even though it was the junior size, the portion was generous and satisfying. The roll was soft but held together great, and everything tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen. Definitely one of the better roast beef spots around. I’ll be back for sure! James River BBQ sauce hit the spot!

Always an excellent experience at Blue House! The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly and they remember you even if you haven’t been there for a while. The food is great, I would say best (and biggest) roast beef in the area! The pizza and subs are great too. Their kindness and good food make me a frequent customer 🙂
