I’ve got to say, this 99 Restaurant in Hingham is top notched comparing to other 5 star restaurants and standing out from other 99 Restaurant we’ve visited. Very clean, comfortable, well lit and plenty of parking. Excellent service from the start. Greeted at the door and seated in a booth each time we visited. Wife and I visited 2 weeks ago after one shopping at the Shipyard. Looking forward to the pre-meal popcorn. Our waitress, Aimee, was superb. Attentive, friendly, polite, professional and courteous. 5 stars service. Ordered the Prime rib rare. Tasty and cooked to perfection with plenty of Au jus. Wife had the chicken salad. Fresh and tender chicken.
Again visited last Wednesday with grandkid who wanted the favorite Mac and cheese as well as take advantage of “kids eat free day after a Red Sox win.” Again service was 5 star excellence by our waitress, Erin T, who was attentive, friendly, polite, professional and courteous. Again food was prepared to perfection this time ordering the ground sirloin special rare and rare it was unlike most places servicing medium. Plenty of mushroom gravy. So good! Absolutely delicious. What’s even better, 5 stars with budget friendly affordable prices. Highly recommend. Will definitely return to this 99 Restaurant very soon for sure.

This is a local eatery and hang out. A lot of people come here week after week. The food is always consistently good and the pricing is very good, even though our favs are starting to go up.

Overall I would say this one is better than the one in South Weymouth and relevant to the area. The food is good and drinks are too also they are consistent. Staff is friendly and parking is good, right next to a busy shopping area. For the location it’s def an affordable option and handicap accessible so I give it good clam chowder but I find ceaser salads to be soggy at most 9’s other than that no complaints. I really like the upside down pineapple drink and that they offer aperol sprits. The spicy chicken sandwich is good too, the dressing makes it wish they would put it on more stuff. Also wish they would offer buffalo cauliflower it would make perfect sense for their gimic The cauliflower app is fried and has to be pre-frozen for this sort of restaurant so it never cooks evenly and is often partially raw batter, which I’m not a fan of. They always do a good loaded mash, a decent steak and good seafood.

Chrissy (bartender) at the 99 in Hingham is outstanding, and her personality is truly the highlight of the experience. She is incredibly fun, upbeat, and engaging, making every visit feel like a great time from the moment you sit down. Her energy is contagious, and she has a natural way of making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Chrissy genuinely makes you feel at home while also keeping things lively and enjoyable. Her personality alone is reason enough to come back again and again. Football Sundays are a weekly visit of ours and you have to take advantage of the “Football Frenzy” deals!!

I’ve had it with Mary. First time we had her, she complained while taking our order, she seemed annoyed by my dietary restrictions forcing revisions to the order. Second time the same thing happened and then when she brought the food she kept coughing as she held it near her face. Seemed purposeful to me then she showed an attitude again when we asked for it to be sent back. What a disrespectful person. How could she possibly be a waitress? Mary Alice or something was her full name, but she’s the cranky, aging biker-looking lady. Good luck if you end up with her. If I’m ever back to this 99 again, I’ll refuse her as a waitress.

This place has actually improved since I went here once 2 years ago. Hate my experience then, but loved tonight experience. Our waitress was attentive and let us know what was best for drinks and dinner. She also didn’t hover over us, so really enjoyed the celebration of our family member turning 21. Would be fun to come here again, because even though it was Wednesday place was packed.

It’s a hit or miss with good service when dining in. We come here often. Some of the bartenders are nice and make drinks the way they should be. Some are condescending and will fill a glass with ice so you get 3-4 sips out of a $10 drink, and when you order something else they get offended and make the next one so weak it doesn’t taste or look the same as a person your dining with who ordered the same thing. Dinging in food is always better then takeout.
2023- Service here has really gone down. Anytime we get take out, something is missing , cooked wrong, or it’s skimp on items for the price you pay. Asked for med tips and honey bbq, the tips weren’t pink and no bbq sauce. Food is warm on the the colder side. And when we dine in service is subpar and mixed drinks are weak.
