Came here for my son’s birthday and it has been almost 15 years since I was here with my girlfriend (now wife). My wife wanted my kid to have the ribeye as that was one thing she remembered from our previous experience. So we saw their Table D’Hou (3 course meal) and ordered the following items:
– smoked salmon salad
– ribeye steak with fries
– halibut pesto + 2 scallops
– mussels with salad
– pears tart with almond cream
– baked alaska

Two minor complaints: (1) the ribeye sauce and mussels broth was kind of salty which was disappointing (2) the mussels were a lot smaller than when we had it last time. Overall the experience was good as the servers and chefs were super friendly and the restaurant was nice and cozy.

Reservation recommended because it gets busy very quickly and the restaurant is small.

We got the calamari, the mussels and fries, and the 12oz ribeye. The calamari was light, crispy and not oily (we forgot to get a picture because we ate it so fast). The mussels are really good and to be honest, we’d come back just for this. The steak was tender and came with a peppercorn sauce and was seasoned very well.

Although there were not many choices for lunch, the food was still awesome with very reasonable price.

Great little restaurant that doesn’t have more than 17 or 18 tables serving up some quintessential French cuisine.

There mussels are fantastic as well as their steak and fried serviced the correct way with mayo not ketchup.

Great restaurant for a relaxing weekend brunch/lunch or a romantic date for dinner.

Yesterday, I went to this restaurant for a date night with my boyfriend. I must say, every single dish had a specific and unique taste. Everything was different and tasted absolutely delicious, unique, and special. I really loved it. I usually don’t consider soup as food, but even the starter – a cauliflower soup – was amazing. It was creamy and incredibly delicious. The main course was phenomenal, and the dessert was so yummy. My taste buds were in seventh heaven! The vibe of the restaurant and the staff were also impressive; everyone behaved very professionally. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely visit again once I’m back in Vancouver.

After my 7month old daughter had her ears piercing in Granville, we had the chance to enjoy the nice and warm weather in the area and saw this restaurant. I was so glad to try their dishes. The ones we ordered tasted really good. Would love to come back here again.

I ordered the halibut risotto and it was very tasty. The scallops were done just right – tender and soft. The halibut is a tad overcooked but the sauce makes up for it.

We both ordered the combo menu and were happy with the portion and the quality of service. The restaurant went from quiet at 5:30 to nearly full in 30 minutes. So it is recommended to make a reservation on the weekend.

Friendly service. Quaint neighborhood French bistro. Price on the higher end for the type of restaurant they are. Probably one of the very few places you can find frog leg in Vancouver. So French! LOL

Haven’t been here for several years. The quality is still there thankfully. Frog legs was juicy and crispy on the outside. Escargot were a bit disappointing (not in shell, plating was wrong). Mussels sauce – we opted for no cream maybe that’s why the flavor was not there – size of mussels were decent though.
