What a great surprise! We stopped in for lunch and won’t be needing dinner either. Really tasty food and friendly service.
I had the Rueben and hubby had the Swiss burger. The sandwiches were tasty and had plenty of meat. I had to take half of mine home.
We’ll be back and bring our friends!
Update: They now have an AYCE salad bar and hot buffet daily. It was a very good value and food was tasty and fresh.
The staff is so friendly. It feels like home.

I ate a late lunch here today. I had read that there is new ownership and some menu changes. I had the buffet. Not a large variety but it was good. The only thing I didn’t like was the country fried steak which was too salty. The chicken and dumplings were very good. The servers were top notch. Very kind and helpful. I will go back.

1/18/2026 we eat here almost every Sunday after church. We were happy the new owners decided to be open for a few hours.
It’s changed a little, but not bad. You now wait to be seated and they take your order at the table.Most of the menu items are the same with the addition of a buffet. Go on in and try it!
2025 I had the BEST Ruben sandwich! They add “our homemade sweet red kraut” that’s why it is the BEST.
My husband had the grilled triple cheese sandwich. We both had the potato salad as our side. We were both very happy with our food.

I had the Rueben with fries and my husband had a burger and fries. My sandwich was delicious and it was so stacked with Corned Beef, I took half of it home. It came with pickled purple cabbage and a smathering of mustard.
My husband was impressed with the size of the burger. It was HUGE and flavorful.
I’m so glad to have a good restaurant in our area of town. The previous owners seemed to close it everywhere day, but the new owners assure me thay they will be open posted hours.

Had the burgers The biggest half pound burger I’ve ever seen and so delicious. very tasty and huge. The german chocolate upside down cake was fantastic. Will definitely be going back again.
