I was SO excited to try this spot for Christmas vibes but was extremely disappointed. Only reason for 2 stars is for the Christmas decorations which were very jolly indeed. HOWEVER the service was SO poor and the food was even worse. We had a reservation for 5:30pm on a Sunday, and we didn’t finish dinner till close to 9PM. I do realize it was very busy since this is a popular spot, but everything was slow and things came out wrong too. Now onto the food:

Charcuterie Board: was afraid of food poisoning honestly, seemed like it had been sitting out for a while (cute plates though) – also the meat was touching the cheese so my vegetarian friend couldn’t try it.

Caesar salad: actually not too bad!

Pepperoni pizza: can’t expect much from pizza in California but this was gross – crust was sloppy and undercooked and way too much cheese.

Cocktails/wine: Specialty Christmas cocktails seemed super cute but I learned the espresso martini is batched so I couldn’t get tequila instead of the vodka. The other tequila option was VERY blue and way too sweet. Ordered white wine and it came out warm – gave me a massive stomachache and headache due to poor quality.

Maybe the food and service is better when it’s not so busy during the holidays, but do not recommend the Christmas pop up as it is overpriced, slow service, and poor quality.

Barbarella’s is awesome for the ambiance since they go all out for the holidays! I loved Halloween and Christmas! Our server was good and attentive. The themed food is cute, but it’s not very tasty and it’s definitely overpriced!

My friend and I met friends here for an early weekday dinner. We were a total party of 4. Our friends had made reservation. We were greeted and seated under the covered patio which was nice. It’s funny the vibe of the casual restaurant reminded me of a Mexican restaurant rather than an Italian one. Our server was very nice and attentive through out the evening.

We started off with cocktails while looking over the menu. Our server was very patient with us as we talked and talked to catch up with old friends. After the 3rd come-around we all decided on the Caesar Salad, Greek Salad, Woodfire Oven Roasted Salmon, Chicken Parmesan and Mushroom Risotto. The salads were very fresh and good. The entrees came out hot and cooked perfectly and tasted good.

Atmosphere: casual relaxing vibe. Service: good. Food: good.

I rarely give 1 star but this restaurant definitely deserves 1 star. We ordered their special. It was rare inside. When we told them they insisted this is how ot should be. Ultimate they took the plate back but instead of replacing it with a a new order, they just sauteed the previous plate.
In their salad we found piece of plastic.
Not recommended.

The restaurant was nicely decorated for Halloween, which made me decide to go there for lunch. I ordered the chicken breast (Jidory chicken breast)but it came out looking unappetizing and had a strange smell. If you visit this restaurant and have a strong sense of taste or smell, I don’t recommend ordering the chicken breast. I paid $35 for my meal but couldn’t eat it. I’m just disappointed that the nice decorations caught my eye and led me here.

We had an amazing experience at Barbella! The food was absolutely delicious—everything was cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Art, provided excellent service, staying attentive and making sure we had everything we needed. They also had sooo many gluten-free options, which was a huge plus! The Valentine’s decorations outside were adorable and added a charming touch to the atmosphere. We realized after leaving that we forgot to check out the inside, but based on the outdoor decor, I’m sure it was just as lovely. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

This restaurant definitely plays towards the vibe and does an excellent job with their themes throughout the year! We visited during Halloween and the place is decked out top to bottom and way over the top with Halloween decor! Very cool and the wait staff and in pirate attire now the food…. Severely disappointed…. For the prices, you can get better Italian in a hole-in-wall place the calamari was bland! The fettuccine bolognese was also very bland the mushroom risotto was ok! The portions were decent!
So if you want the experience and the vibe, come here, just stay for drinks and apps?! Maybe the pizza was good ‍♀️

This was my 1st time to Barbarella. It couldn’t have been a more perfect time. My brother and SIL were visiting from DC for Thanksgiving. We wanted a spot that was in the Xmas spirit as we would not be together for the holiday. Barbarella is all the Christmas vibes! Decorations to Christmas themed cocktails. I will definitely head back down this cute, charming place.

I was so excited for this day. I had seen everything on Instagram and planned my whole week around it when I arrived. I was Coldly greeted by the waiter after waiting for 25 minutes. I waited another 20 minutes to receive my drinks. The waiter was very coldhearted very harsh. Didn’t know anything about the menu. Didn’t know anything about the experience and share anything about the restaurant. He had no idea what was going on and was very horrible. I spoke with management and he was able to replace the waiter after my food had already been delivered.my experience with soiled the new waiter was jolly as I would expect, however still didn’t know anything about the environment, like what the flowers were for different photo opportunities, and none of Them Are trained on photo app and that’s why people mainly come there. I will say the food was pretty tasty. The drinks were very expensive and not worth it.

We went for lunch because I read that it was decorated for Christmas and it was( very old school decorations but I liked it). The menu was a much shortened version of the online menu. I think the only sandwich offered was a hamburger. I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, the BBQ sauce overwhelmed the pizza that is all I could taste. My husband ordered the pancakes. They were large and fluffy but he thought that may may have cooked them on the same grill as they cooked other things because they had a strange flavor. Our waitress was great. If you’re only looking Christmas spirit than I suggest you go. For me, it was a one time affair.
