I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Teka Molino on Eighth Street in San Antonio! From the moment I was greeted by Victor. I felt welcomed and well taken care of.
There are so many food options — perfect for bringing the whole family! I chose the tacos and was pleasantly surprised — they reminded me of the authentic Mexican food I used to enjoy at my best friend’s home during college breaks. The salsa brought back memories of her mom’s cooking, and the chicken was exceptional — moist, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned.
But honestly, the best part was the service. Victor and Heri went above and beyond to make the experience special.
Do yourself a favor: say hello to Victor and Heri, tell them you read this review, and don’t forget to order the puffy tacos and the green chicken enchiladas — top-notch! Thank you, guys, for an amazing experience, I WILL be back!!!

Joined my Granddaughter who regularly eats here at Teka Molino. Prices are reasonable compared to some of other restaurants and it is a good place for customers to come who like Mexican food. A daily special is offered. Customers order & pay for food & add tip at register before being served & eating. Food ordered is then brought to your table. Never liked this system for dining in but I’m sure it cuts labor costs. No waiting for seating or service. Their pastries looked good.

Was in San Antonio for business and a friend told me I had to visit Teko Molino and not just any Teko but this one specifically. I had the Crispy Taco and Pillow Taco. I’ve got to say I’ve never had more fun eating a taco than I’ve had tonight with the pillow taco. Unreal!!! Flavorful, soft but with enough crunch to it. When the staff found out where I was from they told me I had to try the guac and beans in the pillow shell as well. Just tasty!!! Great experience and I will be back.

It was my first time at Teka Molino. The food was delicious, and the customer service was great! We celebrated the retirement of a very close friend. Although it was humid outside, the party area had a large window that allowed for a bit of outside air to circulate. I ate inside the restaurant, though, because of the flies.

I absolutely love the food, the service is great although you go up and order. The food is fast, delicious and fresh. The portions are a good size, the atmosphere is nice and it’s super clean. Absolutely love everything the chicken mole enchiladas are my favorite though

Used to come here frequently when I was stationed near by but haven’t been back in 4 years. Happy to say that the quality remains and the food is just as good as I remember. It tastes like you went to your friends house and their abuela was making all sorts of amazing food! We got the nachos, chicken enchiladas, puffy tacos and crispy tacos. They were all amazing and thankfully my kids needed help finishing because I didn’t want to stop eating! They serve chips and salsa which are also great and I loved their red and green sauce. Also cool that this place has been around for decades and this is our “tradition” to eat here from now on!

Food was not bad! My first time trying puffy tacos. These Tacos got soggy really fast due to the ground beef grease. But the first couple of bites were delicious before it started falling apart. Next time I’ll ask to fry a little longer. The tamales were really good. A bit dried because I’m sure they weren’t fresh but it’s understandable at 7pm. Over all… 8/10.

I’ve only had the breakfast tacos but boy they were amazing. We accidentally went 5 minutes before breakfast was over but the staff was more than happy to get us some tacos. We went back a couple of days later, on time, and ordered more tacos. They were large and stuffed.

Tasty food and great service, our order came with complimentary chips and the salsa was delicious. Tacos and enchiladas were as amazing as the price point! Can’t wait to come back and enjoy more Tex Mex 🙂
