Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite was delicious, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of great energy, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal. What really stood out was the staff friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the experience even better. You can tell they take pride in what they do. This is an awesome find here in Smithville! Chili rellenos are hard to find and even harder to find properly made. This place rocks them!! I had the chili rellenos plate with rice and beans and it was awesome!
The chunky guacamole is welllll worth the price! Super flavorful and fresh!

I’ve been to El Jimador several times and have always had a good experience. You can tell by the customers around you, they have many regulars. The fish tacos and the tortilla soup were amazing! I highly recommend them.

Amazing Salsa, The best Green Enchilada sauce I’ve had, Food is very good. When we go during lunch the service is Amazing! At night not so much. Especially if they aren’t busy all the employees line up along the wall and stare at you the entire time you’re eating.

Been there before as passing through Smithville and food was good, but this visit the ground beef was not good, tasted like it had too much chilli seasoning. All 3 of us got beef in our meal and could not finish our lunch plate.
