Our kids love shave ice and are willing to try new ones that open any time.
The young woman at the window was very kind and helpful, but her long hair should really be tied up as it was touching almost every surface.
We noticed for a few orders after us, she used no gloves to hold the ice blocks.
As far as the shave ice, it’s more like a mainland snow cone. Not soft – very crunchy ice that tastes unfiltered. The flavors are overwhelmingly artificial tasting. The ice cream is a TINY scoop for an additional $3.50
Not worth the price.
Kids agreed that it wouldn’t make top 10 shave ice on Maui.

Ice was too crunchy and not packed well together. The temperatures of ice, syrup, and the vanilla ice cream were so off that it turned into a watery mess in less than 3 minutes. This was on a cold evening! Ruined our first shave ice experience!!
