It’s a nice little place so be sure to make reservation for guranteed seating. Has a little bar for those who like the bar and dinning area. They do dimmed the lights down for a calmer, relaxing vibe but it is a smaller place so it gets pretty loud.

The tom yum was ok. I would like it to have more flavors to it. I didn’t really taste the spicy, curry and sour in a tom yum. It’s good for beginners who are not used to the strong flavors of a tom yum.

Drunken noodle was ok. Flavors was also very light.

Crispy chicken wings has a good crunch to it and dipping sauce was good. The dipping sauce has more flavors to it than the rest of the food that I ordered.

The scallop appetizer was ok. A lot smaller than I thought. The shells are pretty but the meat is small.

Tried the thai tea flight and it was ok. It comes with thai tea, green tea, ube thai tea and thai coffee. The thai coffee was probably the only one I like best. The green tea has a coconut flavor.

The lychee drink was pretty but it was ok. Taste like a lychee lemonade tea.

Overall, food was ok. The flavors are more beginner friendly.

We had crab fried rice & duck curry, they are all good. The portion is huge that we have no more space for mango sticky rice :(. The restaurant is very clean, very decor & super cozy. Our waitress is very welcoming & attentive! Good place for thai food in fresno.

Friendly service and beautiful setting. Everything was beautifully plated. We ordered Smoked Pork Belly, Papaya Salad, Crab Fried Rice, Panang Duck, Mixed Vegetable Tofu, Thai Iced Tea and Mango Sticky Rice. Our favorites were Smoked Pork Belly and Mixed Vegetable Tofu. The rice is blue color, pretty however it could be more flavor.

The food was actually delicious, and the drinks were great too. But we did have a frustrating service experience. Extra Items were brought to our table that we did not order. Even after clearly explaining that the order wasn’t ours, we were repeatedly told that we had ordered it. Instead of an apology for the mix up, or an accountability to just disregard it, it felt like we were being guilted for something we didn’t ask for, which took away from the experience. However, there were many staff members were friendly, and overall it was still a good experience. I’d recommend it

Great atmosphere and service. The food in my opinion, wasn’t that good. Definitely should get some bolstering.

The red curry didn’t taste like red curry at all. Weird flavor to it.

The Tiger something wasn’t good either. It’s supposed to be a grilled steak dish but it tasted like it was smoked and just sliced up. Very disappointing.

The papaya was not good at all.

Cuisine with a Diverse Palate in Mind. Been here once but I still want to find a reason to come back and give it a try again. Red curry was a little sweet which threw me off but it is tailored to local tastes.

I’ve driven by Satay Thai countless times without ever noticing it, but I’m so glad I finally went in. This place is an absolute must-try! Inside, the small space is expertly arranged, so you never feel cramped. We had a party of four and ordered a variety of dishes to share, and every single one was fantastic. The Satay was, of course, a highlight—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. If you’re looking for delicious Thai food in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, you’ve found your spot.

Satay is an excellent addition to North East Fresno. The restaurant’s interior is nicely decorated with a Thai/tropical ambiance and is mostly dark and moody with a touch of brightness, so I recommend dining in.

The food is the real reason to try this thai restaurant though. The meals provide decent portions and are packed with Thai flavors as well as some little twists and fusions. I plan to explore the menu more in the future because everything we had was great. My favorites from the day were the crab fried rice (the soft shell crab on top was amazing) and the yellow curry with beef (love the addition of the roti bread).

Overall, I think everyone who likes Thai food should try Satay out, you will not be disappointed!

The food was good but not the best. Came here for my birthday… made a reservation and got seated right away…but they did not take me and my family’s orders 20 minutes later. On top of that they made us waited 30 minutes to get our checks!! We kept asking them and they kept saying that they’ll get to it but never did. My brother had to go up and asked for it!! THE SERVICE WAS NOT IT!! **mind you they don’t have that much tables and there was people waiting trying to dine in*** if you want better Thai food then go to Pad Thai in Clovis. Another thing, they color dyed their rice blue so I thought that was weird lol. It tasted kinda gooey. Overall, the place is pretty and their food presentation was there just not the service. I gave it 3/5 :))

Ambience is very nice with esthetic design. Food is really good but on the saltier side. The butterfly pea rice is meh but pretty!

Lychee drink was okay. I thought it was not very flavorful but def IG worthy.

We ordered the Nam Kao on a lettuce, panang curry and the crying tiger.

I’m grateful there is finally a Thai restaurant in NE Fresno with lots of flavor. Go give it a try but ask them to go lighter on the salt! 😉
