I had a really great experience here!
I was told beforehand to expect very rude service, so I rook it as a part of the experience. When we first arrived, we even had the door slammed in our faces! But after waiting for about 10 minutes, we were let into the restaurant, and the service was actually okay—maybe a little fast-paced, but overall friendly and decent.
The food was sooo good! I had a leek and potato soup as a starter and veal as the main dish. Wow, it was incredibly flavorful, and they served a huge piece of meat. For dessert, I had the rhubarb trifle, and I also got a massive glass of white wine.
I was honestly surprised by how good the food was, especially considering how cheap it is—3 courses for just 125 kr . How do they even make money at that price?!

We went to Oli-Bistro for dinner as a group of 7 on a Friday. We had made a reservation the day before ans got seated at our table quickly. As we were still waiting for 3 of our friends, we didn’t order straight away cause we didn’t want to order for the others. When they arrived, it took about 30 minutes to get menus and order our food and drinks. The foods arrived at a decent time, took about 20-30 minutes. I had the “Oli-Menu” 2 course option, which included an appetizer Duck rillette and a main course of Rabbit. They came to 155 kr in total. Although I wanted to order the 3-course menu version for 165 kr with dessert, they didn’t allow us to order that. Anyways, the duck rillette was alright, the rabbit was really good. For dessert we ordered creme brulee afterwards and that was also amazing, which cost around 75kr. If the restaurant is busy then the waiters can get annoyed and be a bit moody, but they all are actually really nice people.

Wonderful french restaurant in the middle of Aarhus. The three course meal tasted amazing. The service was a bit difficult to understand but nothing serious. The atmosphere was tight and cosy, but also a bit loud due to that. Overall a great experience.

We never actually made it to eating at this restaurant, as we were met by a hostile and rude waiter that told us to wait outside. She refused to give us any indication of how long the wait was likely to be, so we left, went to L’Estragon and had an incredible experience.

Very disappointed, I booked 2 weeks in advance for a dinner for me and my partner’s anniversary and they told us on the phone to come at 8pm but when we arrived, they were kind of rude, had no idea about our reservation and told us we can stay but there are only a few food options available from the menu… the lack of communication and consideration made us leave immediately. I don’t recommend this place

Amazing and authentic French cuisine. We had the mussels, octopus and fish and chips and all were supreme. Pair it with a Kirr Royal and you have perfection.

Rude, cold, and threatening waitress – literally threatened my friend that she won’t serve us food unless we order 2 drinks, not only 1, together with our 300 DKK order of food.
Her argument is that we ‘must’ buy a drink because ‘their food is so cheap’, which isn’t true. Menu starts at 77 DKK, and at Osteria 98 you can also get a huge lasagna or pasta for 75 DKK.
In any case, if buying a drink with your order is a must, it has to be said in a polite, calm tone. Not thundering over your customers and threatening them. Totally spoiled the mood.
