Wow the food here was absolutely amazing! I ordered the mole, and you honestly can’t get more authentic than this. The flavor took me straight back to a Mexican party where the little old lady makes her signature mole from scratch rich, deep, and full of love. It was pure nostalgia in every bite. The mole and rice were both on point! Truly worth the trip.

Food was delicious, generous portions and they have some very spicy salsas available at the bar if heat is your thing ! Chile toreado is one of the hottest I’ve had. My partner is gluten free and she was able to eat our meal with no issues. The staff is friendly and welcoming on a snowy day.

We went to Tommy’s Tacos today because of the fantastic 5 star reviews they have and man they are well deserved of that rating.
We had the Carne Asada Fries – a generous portion entree and especially the steak (we love that!!!!) and and Birria Tacos with cheese.
The food is DELICIOUS. Hands down our new close to home favorite taco and beyond spot. (They have birria ramen for next time!)
The establishment was likely the cleanest restaurant we’ve seen in town, and the staff was welcoming and very friendly. We will be recommending Tommy’s Tacos to everyone on this side of town without a doubt.

This is one of my top places to go for Mexican.
Their corn tortillas and therefore their tortilla chips are made in house and are delicious.
I don’t think that anywhere else in the springs does this.
The salsa bar was good. I liked the guacamole a lot. It had a bit of spice to it that I loved.
The bar could have used some limes.
The quesabirria taco were good.
The bean and cheese burrito was good.
The carnitas burrito was amazing. Crispy and juicy at the same time.
The mole was perfect.
A show stopper.
It is really good.
I wish they had chicharrones burritos but this place is great.
Highly recommend!

The food was phenomenal! I had their Carne asada fries and they were fully loaded, so big I took the rest home, I tried all their salsas and they were full of flavor and spice. My husband had their Mole, it just takes you back to your mom’s cooking! We tried their 5 taco order with birria and carne asada and the meat was so flavorful Definitely recommend, a must try if you’re in Colorado Springs !

Reminded me of a taco shop in San Antonio, TX. The mole is some of the best in town. The chicken was so tender it just fell off the bone. Highly recommend.

This place is great! The mole tastes completely homemade — it made us feel like we were eating at a real Mexican party. The jamaica was refreshing and tasted like real hibiscus, not the powder mix you get at other places. The asada fries were really good, and the rice had that home-cooked flavor that’s hard to find. Overall, this is a great spot, and I’ll definitely be coming back often!
