We went Friday night and everything was so good that we went back for Sunday lunch.
My hubby ordered the 23oz ribeye on Friday and a 20 oz on Sunday. With Mashed Potatoes and butter corn. I got the BBQ chicken with steak fries and sautéed mushrooms. To drink he got Dos Xx, and I got the Legendary Margarita. Our servers Friday were Allie and Jake, and today we had Ericka. The steaks were cooked to perfection!! My chicken was tender and juicy. This will be a new favorite for us when we want steak and a great Margarita!!

I ordered the ribeye with grilled shrimp (side: Caesar salad and texas red chili) and it was fantastic The steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, while the shrimp were perfectly grilled with a buttery garlic seasoning that paired beautifully with the steak. The portion size was generous and very satisfying.
The only downside was the drinks—we actually received them much later than the food. We even had to ask for them again, and by the time they arrived, we were almost finished eating. It was a bit disappointing since everyone wanted to enjoy their drinks with the meal from the beginning.

Texas Roadhouse is our favorite date spot! As students, we look for places that are budget-friendly but still serve amazing food, and this place is perfect. The steak is always juicy and cooked just right, and the portion sizes are spot on.

MY FIANCE HAD A VIOLET REACTION TO SOMETHING SHE ATE.. HER THOAT SWELLED AND TRIGGERED HER INTO CESURES AND DIARRHEA/VOMITING.!! (Suspect the shrimp-seasoning/Latex)
*Sat down at a table for 2 (asked for a place for 3-size matters).
* I order steak medallions (Took FOREVER)and rice(imagine sticky rice Cajun style) with mushrooms (seasoning had flavor, couldn’t taste the mushrooms), sweet potato(like nacho at the theatre: plenty of chips not enoughsauce), and Extra shrimp(cooked right, buried in seasoning).
* My FIANCÉs meal: the mac&cheese (cheese was on the bottom of the bowl, not enough to cover the noodles), she ordered the “Dallas Filet” ( under cooked-“bleeding” and delivered the same time as my steak).
* The ONLY things we got quickly were the house salad and the “Old’ Fashioned”. We had to basically flag someone down for refills and stuff.
The “steak sauce” they stock the tables with ISN’T A1. I ate Ketchup with everything, overpowered the overseasoning with it.. even covered my rice in it.. no staff members said anything, No managers were seen or called….I guess that could be a good thing.

The atmosphere was classic Texas Roadhouse, the waitress was nice but didn’t come to the table often. It took a long time to get our food and they were not their normals busy. Steak was not cooked to the done level I asked for and the shrimp were so over seasoned they were not that edible. UPDATE: I have been vomiting since I got home from this restaurant, I had a feeling the shrimp tasted peculiar and now I am sure of it. #food poisoning

Great service. Good atmosphere but really loud. The servers dancing is entertaining. Didn’t like having to wait in the “stalls.” I would have much rathered kept my seat in the waiting area. The rolls are fantastic! My food was pretty good and the steaks my family ordered were also good. My play just looked a little messy. (Pictured) the mac and cheese was also good. I also had a side salad with my meal.

As expected on a Friday evening, the wait time was almost one hour long… However, the food was well worth the wait! Very friendly staff, sweet tea, fresh/hot rolls with honey cinnamon butter, house salad, Filet Medallions cooked to perfection, side orders of steak fries and steamed broccoli. I give my highest recommendation!

It was our first time eating at Texas Roadhouse in Opelika. When my salad came, we didn’t have any utensils. I had to ask for them. When they refilled the drinks, she just bought extra tea. But no ice. Drinking warm tea is not my preference When I received my tea, I got more lemons without having to remind her. That impressed me. When management finds out that the customer is not happy with the service, they tend to bend over backwards to please me. A day late and a dollar short. The food was very good. I will stick to the Texas Roadhouse in Columbus.
